Settle in to enjoy the full kitchen and covered patio when it rains, or use the suite as a base to explore. Access from a separate driveway, just a 10 minute walk to the ferry and downtown Sointula.

Perfect for couples, families, or visiting workers. Comfortably sleeps 4 and the pullout loveseat fits a fifth. We will consider well-behaved dogs.

We live upstairs with our two dogs and have a great tenant in the other garden level suite. Ask us about chartering a boat tour, or whale-watching.

The space
Two bedrooms and a full kitchen in this suite, plus it being freshly renovated, make this a comfortable place to settle in. The covered patio is wonderful in a rainforest, and gives you views down your private driveway and of the split cedar fence separating our garden from the suite’s outdoor area.

Where you’ll be

Sointula, British Columbia, Canada

A 10 minute walk gets you to the ferry, grocery store, cafe, pub and gas station. In the opposite direction it is a 10 minute walk to the ballfield and playground. Other than the occasional ferry traffic it’s very quiet in our neighbourhood, with minimal street lights so you can star gaze on clear nights.

Easy walking, cycling, or driving in the neighbourhood and access to the entire island. We are located at the edge of the town grid.

I’m an active person who enjoys time outside with my two large dogs and has far too many project ideas. I like getting to know people, but also my quiet time. My space is your home while you are visiting, and if I or my partner are home you are welcome to knock on our door to ask us questions.
