Relax at the Hayloft Barn, complete with pool table, covered seating area, and firepit. Located walking distance from the beautiful Village of Pemberton, and just a scenic 30 minute drive from Whistler so you can enjoy the best of both worlds! World class hiking, biking, skiing, horse riding, fishing and golf are all in easy reach.

Additionally, the Hayloft Barn is a wonderful place to catch up with loved ones, play a game of pool, or relax by the firepit whilst enjoying the spectacular view.

The lower floor modern loft has all you need to enjoy a relaxing getaway in the countryside. The home is equipped with a kitchenette to whip up tasty meal to enjoy with friends and family. The dining table seats 6, or take your meal outside to the garden to eat with the magical view of Mount Currie. The suite features speedy Wi-Fi and a Smart TV, so snuggle up on the sofa to watch a movie, or work from home in a tranquil setting. Play a game of foosball, read a book, or take advantage of the library of board games. The master bedroom is set behind stunning hand-crafted cedar barn doors, and features a comfortable queen bed so you can sleep soundly. Climb the ladder to the loft area which has a queen bed for additional guests.
Outside, you can wander the 8 acre property, picking fresh berries, hanging with the goats and chickens who freerange throughout the day and taking in the breathtaking views. Visit the Hayloft Barn to play a game of pool, take a seat by the covered fire pit to exchange stories, or just marvel at the unobstructed view of the mountains. Be inspired by the natural surroundings of Lazy Acres, including meadows, forested groves, organic gardens, a tranquil pond, and the best views in Pemberton. We even have pigs to visit (and cows at times)!
The suite boasts a mudroom area to store skis & snowboards, and all your gear in the winter. Bikes can be stored at the entry, please bring your own locks!
All accommodations have access to 8 acres of farmland, along with access to the Hayloft Barn featuring spectacular views of Mount Currie, games, and a covered outdoor seating area with a gas firepit. This area is shared between all accommodations at Lazy Acres. Join the fun!

Lazy Acres is a 20 minute walk, 5 minute bike ride or 3 minute drive into the center of Pemberton, and a beautiful 25 minute drive to Whistler.
Other things to note
There is a separate private suite located on the second floor of this building. This suite is completely separate and only share the parking area. You may bump into the tenants that live in the suite above on the farm.
Only guests that are physically capable of climbing steep steps and are confident with heights should use the lofted area.
The Hayloft Barn with outdoor games, swings, and propane fire pit is available for all guests to enjoy until 10pm daily.
We are excited to welcome one well mannered dog and this must be approved prior to booking. Please note that there is a $50 fee to cover extra cleaning and additional wear and tear to the home. Dogs are not to be left unattended for extended periods and arrangements should be made for them ahead of time if you plan to hit the mountain all day. Please bring all supplies needed for your pup.
Occasionally, farm equipment is in use on the property (i.e. tractor, mower, tools, snow blower, etc.). During the hot summer months, some property work must take place earlier in the morning or later evening while it's cool. We do our very best to not disturb guests and work in areas not used by guests at that time, but cannot always guarantee total silence when guests are enjoying the property. We always appreciate everyone's understanding so we can keep the property in perfect condition for you all!

Our property is situated on the 'Fringe" of Pemberton Village. It's close enough to walk to town (about 20min walk; 5 min bike ride or a few mins drive), but far enough away to feel truly removed from any hustle or bustle.
The street is lined with a mix of modern country estates and character mountain farm homes. Many of the residences board horses or raise livestock.
Guests can walk about 10mins east or west of our property to reach the Lillooet River. Trail access to the Mackenzie Basin (mountain biking, hiking, horse back trails) is a mere 15min walk.

Welcome to Lazy Acres! We are Emma & Kevin, a husband and wife host duo that are thrilled to welcome guests from around the world to our beautiful property.
I am originally from England and Kevin is from Manitoba. We met in Whistler and after falling in love with the mountains, we have spent the last 12 years here running a successful vacation property management company, hosting thousands of guests each year. In the spring of 2021, we decided to make the move to Pemberton for a slower pace of life and we took one look at our 'soon to be home' and knew instantly that our children had to grow up at 'Lazy Acres' surrounded by mountains, willow trees and nature. One peek down the driveway of our new home and we were day dreaming fools.
Come stay with us and i guarantee the Views of Mt. Currie will have you captivated. We still wake up every morning in awe of our surroundings. Guests are free to explore the 8 acre property. We can often be found working around the farm with our 2 sons. Our dog Charlie loves greeting guests and our barn cat Romy is curious and likes to say hi.
It is incredibly fun to see guests enjoy the property with their family & friends. Amidst all the craziness in the world, it has been so special to connect with people from every corner and share in our appreciation for the surroundings and simplicity of the moment. Come see what it's all about!
