Surrounded by water on 3 sides, this is a great place to relax, unwind, swim, fish, boat and generally enjoy the great Canadian wilderness.

This area is remote and the cabin is rustic. If you're thinking 5-star resort, this is probably not for you. If you're wanting a to immerse yourself in nature, you've found a hidden gem.

Most of the year, we have organic gardens, chickens, etc and you are more than welcome to interact with all.

The space
The cabin itself is rustic but equipped with all of the essentials. The view from the cabin's front porch is idyllic. There is indoor plumbing (no shower or bath) and solar-powered electricity including Starlink wifi, which is available outside of business hours. Think of it like glamping! If, however, you do want a shower during your stay, you are welcome to make use of the outdoor shower next to the main house.

You are also welcome to make use of the paddle boards, kayaks and rowboat during your stay.

Guest access
Guests can access the spring cottage and all of its amenities as well as the shared property (125 acres), trails and dock.

Other things to note
The "spring cottage" cabin is one of 4 scattered around the property and used to be the 'owners quarters'. There is only 1 other cottage at this end of the lake, so there is LOTS of privacy to be had here!

Just be aware that this place is very remote (plan ahead for food) and very off-grid. Electricity is abundant during the day but somewhat limited at night. If you come looking for a very comfortable camping experience in a setting that you'd expect to have to canoe to, you're going to love it here. We do! If you come expecting a Muskoka resort, you'll be sadly disappointed.

We are located in Cayamant, QC. Cayamant is a municipality in La Vallée-de-la-Gatineau region. The village of Lac-Cayamant is located at the north end of Lake Cayamant, west of Gracefield. This area is a haven for outdoor activities.

Our place is 6 km south of Lac-Cayamant on Petit-Lac-Cayamant. The lake itself is pristine, relatively untouched and teaming with fish. Our property is 125 acres of mainly woodlands, wetlands and lake frontage. We even have a lake entirely within our property!

We are a 1 hour drive from Gatineau Park, which has many amenities including some great ski resorts.
