Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
This home is located in the side of a rustic 1950's barn. Large kitchen-dining room, patio, and a screened porch are some of the best features. Acres of pasture to roam too! Fire pit, wood and charcoal grill. Check in 3-8pm-no late check in. No pets. Metropolitan Nashville Short Term Rental Permit # 500803. We do not rent to locals. This is a pet-free home and ESAs don't fall into AIrbnb's service animal policy or the ADA's policy in this rental.

The space
Enjoy being in a West of city suburb but on an 18 acre farm complete with horses, in a clean three bedroom home. 25min to downtown Nashville or Franklin. It is truly country in the city. Metropolitan Nashville requires us to add $2.50 per night per bed occupancy, and 6% on total stay. These fees are included in your pricing. Max of 5 people may rent at this time.

This home was built into the side of an old barn in 1983 and has original concrete floors, antiques and unique rustic décor. Ellie, the mule and 3 other horses are also on the property, including a mini-horse, Liza. There is a creek and pond, you will need to drive through a low creek (2-5" water) to access home, but most cars have no trouble with this at all. Wi-Fi and basic cable TV channels are present/one flat screen TV. Non-smoking. Keurig, drip coffee maker, coffee, and tea are included. Complete kitchenware and all linens are present. Charcoal grill, hair dryer, small iron/ironing board. Central heat and air. Stove, microwave/toaster, crock pot. 5 min to interstate I-40, then 15-20 min to downtown Nashville. Variety of local restaurants, cafes, shopping in vicinity. 2 miles to famous Loveless Restaurant and 3 miles to Natchez Trace. We provide a few amenities (paper goods, shampoo, etc) but you may need to supplement these during your stay.

We can interact with you as much as you wish..... Our southern hospitality will be in evidence, but your privacy is maintained. It is a safe neighborhood.

This little farm, in our family since 1972, is surrounded by nice subdivisions, but feels very country. Our desire is to keep the property as original as possible. Bellevue is an upper scale suburb on the west side of Nashville.

Bring your car, Uber and Lyft are available for nights on the town.

We live on this property as well, so are usually available if you need anything. You can walk the 18 acres as long as you don't mind sharing the space with the horses. Property is very pretty, especially in the summer, sit on the patio and watch the horses graze...

Access to property crosses through a small low creek. Home in is large barn on property. Finding the driveway at night can be tricky, call if you need help. No check ins after 8pm. Look for a lighted sign that says Poplar Hollow Farm.

We can interact as much as you wish, but your privacy is maintained.

You are welcome to pet the horses...just let us know in advance if you need safety instructions/ No smoking please. The property also has another farmhouse nearby sometimes available which has two bedrooms, it is listed under Poplar Hollow Farmhouse (it is a child free property).

Guest access
You have access to almost 18 acres of rolling and flat pasture, fenced and unfenced, if you don't mind sharing with the horses. We can be reached 24/7 by calling my cellphone: (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN TILL BOOKING MADE).

Other things to note
A Metropolitan Nashville Occupancy and Privilege Tax, 6% of entire stay, and $2.50 per night for every two persons, is included in your reservation cost. We are required to add these fees per local regulations. Check in is between 3-8pm. Additional fees apply for more than 2 guests.

Owners of 18 acre farm with 3 horses, and one mule. We love new restaurants, and wine. We try to stay fit and eat healthy most of the time. Active in church, but not judgmental about religion or lifestyle. We are both retired and enjoy reading, sitting on the porch, traveling and wine.
