This host committed to Airbnb's 5-step enhanced cleaning process.
This quiet, private Guest House is located on our 32-acre organic family farm located near a picturesque Amish area, with access to many natural recreational activities along the Tennessee River, such as hiking, swimming, canoeing and kayaking.
A home-cooked breakfast is included in the cost of the booking.
Our Guests are welcome to tour the farm.

The space
The Guest House is clean, attractive and comfortable. It is located about 300' from our Main House.

*Queen bed in one bedroom, with a memory foam mattress and closet.
* An alcove off the main room contains a twin fold-out futon sofa.
* Two floor air mattress are available to accommodate additional people, if they do not mind sleeping on the floor of the main room.
* Dinner table that seats six.
* Full kitchen with microwave.
* Washer and dryer.
* Free WiFi and and a large-screen TV with free streaming movie channel.
Note: We found that the WiFi signal in the Guest House performs consistently with no drop-outs, even during heavy rain. However, depending on the devices used, your ability to get the signal may vary in different areas of the building. We found that we could get consistent performance toward the front of the building in the alcove and dinning area.

There is a beautiful creek that runs through our property, up to 50' wide at places with some deep swimming holes. The water is clean, and any fish caught can be safely eaten. There are many shallow areas that are safe for children, but they should always be supervised by a responsible adult.

On our small farm we keep a small number of livestock for our own use and amusement -- 6 chickens, 5 cows, 7 sheep, 2 goats, and 9 geese. There is a large organic garden and numerous fruit and nut trees, berries, figs, grapes, etc. Guests are welcome to tour the farm and visit the animals, but must stay behind the fence when interacting with the cows and sheep.

Most of the time, the farm is very quiet, with only the sounds of the birds and the wind in the trees. But from time to time Guests may hear sounds such as a rooster crowing in the morning, or geese having a disagreement amongst themselves. However, should these intermittent noises occur, the windows of the Guest House are all double-paned, so such sounds are minimized when inside the building. We have never had anyone mention they had trouble sleeping due to noise.
