The space
If you want your own private vacation space in Big Canoe, but still want to be just 2-5 minutes away from the major amenities - this two story home is just for you. When you're here you feel like you're alone in the woods, surrounded by gorgeous foliage and wildlife. In fact, it’s common to see a family of deer strolling across the property or resting in the distance. Inside you'll find comfortable modern finishings and personal touches. This home features a convenient master on main. There are 2 dining areas with total seating for 12. There are 2 living rooms - the main living room upstairs with fireplace and floor to ceiling windows with sweeping views and a second lounge downstairs complete with TV as well.
The kitchen provides stainless steel appliances, air fryer / toaster oven, Keurig coffee machine, blender, electric griddle and a fully stocked kitchen. We also include communal spices , oil, vinegar, coffee, teas, salt, sugar , etc. The dining area even includes a cocktail making kit. We offer two outdoor lounge spaces, one screened in covered and one not. Full dining for 6 is available on the uncovered patio and the spacious covered patio seats 7. You'll also find a giant outdoor connect 4 game for your entertainment.
The bedrooms are all very spacious. There are 3 bedrooms and an office that has a pull out queen sized sleeper couch. The two king size master bedrooms offer en-suite bathrooms. The master provides a jet tub as well and walk in closet. The bunk bed room is ideal for kids and can sleep 4 and has an adjacent full bathroom.
You will also find plenty of parking and a level 2 EV charger so you can explore the mountain area with your electric vehicle.
We are minutes from trail heads, playfield park, the marina , swim center , wellness center, clubhouse and more.
Big Canoe is a very hilly area with winding roads. The driveway is steep and we recommend using a vehicle that can easily navigate mountain roads.
During December the house features a live Christmas tree and seasonal decor.
Guest access
Big Canoe is an access restricted community. You will need to provide ID upon initial entry and you will be given a guest pass. Any guest who wants to use the ala carte amenities will need to register at the main gate as a guest upon first entry. We have a total of 5 parking spaces, 2 in front of the house, one to the left of the house and two in the side of the house near the garage doors. Please note the garage is not accessible.
Other things to note
You will need to provide us with the names of your guests before your visit so we can register them at the main gate. It is very important that this is provided prior to your visit to prevent delays when you first enter Big Canoe and challenges booking amenities.
MINIMUM NIGHTS:
We only accept bookings for 2 or more nights.

We like to keep things simple - we only ask 2 things. If you have any dirty dishes - please leave them running in the dishwasher and feel free to leave any used linens / towels on the floor. That’s it.
If you need to get rid of trash during your visit - there’s a trash center at the North Gate.

REGARDING PETS:
Up to 2 pets allowed. And a one time $25 pet fee per animal will apply.
If you are interested in a stay longer than 28 days - you will have to sign a rental agreement and provide a copy of identification for your booking to be accepted. You may send an inquiry / booking request if you are interested.
Also - weekly housekeeping turnovers are required for long stay bookings. You will agree to provide a 4 hour window once a week where our cleaning crew can perform the clean and change linens. A monthly $300 cleaning fee will be added to the cost of booking to replace the $150 once off cleaning fee for short stay bookings.
