If you want a glimpse of Brooklyn flavor after navigating Manhattan, this big one bedroom apartment in Flatbush will be the perfect spot for you. It is located only a few steps from the Church Ave stop on the Q/B trains that take you into Manhattan in less than 20min and two blocks from beautiful Prospect Park. The neighborhood is quiet and has a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby.
It's a good spot to rest after a busy/fun day in the city. Quiet, clean, relaxed. There's wifi and fully equipped kitchen. It's my personal home which I rent out when I am away so it is cozy.
Guests will have access to the whole apartment and can use the kitchen to cook if they choose to.
Interaction with guests
I will not be present while guests are staying in the apartment, but feel free to call me if anything happens. I will reach out to the building's superintendent right away.
Other things to note
If you are very allergic to cats, my home will not be your ideal place. Although my cat will not be present when guests are staying and the place will be cleaned of her hairs, I cannot guarantee that you won't have a reaction!
There's a no shoe policy in the house - in case you planned to bring socks with holes in them that might then embarrass you. (I don't mind, I say it more for you)
I'm a filmmaker by choice, and a production designer and translator by necessity. I've traveled a lot in my life and can speak English, Japanese, French, and Spanish fluently. I could return over and over again to the Saharan desert. I've needed to adapt to many places and people so consider myself easy to get along with, and understanding of differences. I make a good coffee, too.
