Be aware there are no services closer than 2 km. The cottage is located on Marine Drive opposite the ocean, and there is some traffic on this road; more so in summer when the Coast is a very popular destination for both vacationers and day-trippers. A fence and trees screen the road and traffic noise.

We raised our family in Port Moody BC, then moved into Vancouver so we could walk and ride almost everywhere. We are recently retired professionals with two sons doing amazing things in the world. We enjoy sailing, hiking, canoeing, cycling, travelling, drinking locally made beer on the cottage deck in the sun - and in the moonlight - and making improvements in the off-season. When we aren't using it ourselves, we like to share our weekend home with visitors to Gibsons and the Sunshine Coast, so they can become familiar with a place we have grown to love.
