A spacious, comfortable bungalow in a mostly quiet neighbourhood. Very well situated for access to the Waimea canyon and to beaches. Waimea is a small, delightful town, with all amenities, and only 2 miles away.

Very quaint home - had everything we needed and great space & decor. Close to the beach & to Waimea. We enjoyed our brief stay.

This is a sweet cottage and Kendall is a lovely host. It has very small bedrooms and great for a couple nights to explore the canyon and beaches. It was noisy due to the neighbors barking dogs and for a week it was unpleasant. Kendall was very understanding and willing to refund…

Response from Kendall:
Thank you Jeff for staying with us. You are right we are the dryer warmer side of the island and you were here during on of our hottest months. I hope you did find the many box fans and all of the ceiling fans did cool the home off to cooler than 80 degrees. Mahalo

This place is very nice, a cool house with history and an unbeatable location. I was working in the state park up the canyon, which is not a far drive, and it was very nice to have this place to come back to in the evening. Check in was straightforward and it was very private.

Kendall's place was just right for us. The third bed is in a common side room, but the two bedrooms were separate and nice. The outdoor shower was a nice treat! Be aware that there is no a/c, but there are many ceiling fans, and some others for use as well. It is a big place and …

Aloha. I have lived on Kauai for 20 years and love my home. I am a Texas native and enjoy entertaining, cooking, reading, traveling, hiking and hitting the gym. Our properties are all on the sunny west side of Kauai in the village of Kekaha. Kekaha is a sleepy beach commu…
