Get away from the hustle at the MUSHROOM CABIN!
Cozy up in the cabin, take a walk on the trails, heat up in our wood burning sauna, or just sit outside and listen to the frogs and birds sing.
Get rustic by cooking with our wood fire earth oven or grill over a campfire! You’ll have all the cooking tools you need for a fabulous meal.
IMPORTANT! ***No running hot water or shower available from October 1st to May 10th***
Regardless, our place is a retreat you’ll love!

The space
You’ll enjoy access to our property, the boardwalk, and raised bed garden and even the neighbouring trails for a good walk. Watch the sunrise and sunset sitting on the large wrap-around porch while sipping on a relaxing cup of tea, listening to the frogs sing in the pond. Heat up in our wood fired sauna. We supply wood to use in the fire pit, earth oven and sauna.

Guest access
You’ll have access to the property which includes the garden, and we can give you a tour of our art studio located beside the cabin if you wish. You’ll also have access to 2km of walking trails on the neighbouring property and we have snow shoes for our guests in the winter months.

Other things to note
While I allow 4 guests, there is only one queen size bed (which I supply linens for) and a floor hammock (which linens are not supplied). You can bring an air mattress if you’d like.

Bring your housecoat swimwear and some cozy slippers and rubber boots if it’s going to be rainy, and some bug repellent if you wish to use some. Also, To keep the light airy feel of the place I’ve chosen not to put up curtains. So, if you are bothered by the morning sunlight and don’t want to be up with the birds, make sure to bring your sleep mask.

We are located in a quiet rural farming area, an hours drive from Ottawa and Parliament hill, Brockville and the Thousand Islands and Cornwall, Ontario. Just 20 minutes drive to beaches and fishing at the St. Lawrence River and Historic Upper Canada Village and 30 minutes from the scenic Long Sault parkway, and only 1.5 hrs from Montreal.
