Last time we came to Paris we stayed in a hotel just around the corner, but staying in Mike's apartment really felt like coming home and living in Paris for 5 days; the apartment is beautiful, very comfortable and well equipped. It is well situated in the Marais which is a great neighborhood. Many good restaurants within a few minutes walk, as well as a supermarket and all other shops one could need. Everything was like promised and the communication with Mike and David was fast and clear. We hope to be back one day! Thanks!
Gorgeous apartment! A dream!
Everything you need ...
Perfect location and Mike and David are wonderful hosts.
Thanks for all.
Three of us traveled to Paris and stayed at Mike's apartment over Thanksgiving. Mike's fantastic friend David arranged for a driver to retrieve us from the airport which made our arrival seemless. We were collectively knocked out when we opened the door to the apartment. Stunningly beautiful, calm, quiet and completely Parisian. It is large, airy and light with massive charm and good taste. I will never stay anywhere else again when I return to Paris. The location is also fantastic as there are many great restaurants and shops in the Marais. It was also within easy walking distance to Notre Dame, the Louvre, and Place des Voges. Do not even give it a second thought. Book this dreamy apartment!
This was my first AirBnB experience and I could not be happier. Mike and David made the logistics a breeze and David helped me out of a jam for which I am so thankful. The apartment is perfect. I had several Parisian guest during my stay, all who couldn't stop commenting on the size and tasteful updates. I was thankful to have a bathtub. The location of the apartment is very central with some great food options close, for the nights you just want to stick close to home and watch a movie or two.
I can not recommend this place enough. A true gem to which I will undoubtedly be returning.
This was our first airbnb experience so take this into account when reading the review.
The apartment was very nice, clean and large. Mike and David were responsive and helpful. The location was very good but not excellent. A bit of street noise which was tolerable. Metro was convenient and the outdoor market up the street is great.
I rate it a 4 only because it was a bit expensive for the location and the overall quality but would be quite comfortable staying here again.
Mickael was truly great to deal with, he is very nice and very helpful. The apartment is wonderful and will satisfy all those who have high standing expectation. You can go in total confidence.
Beautiful apartment, wonderful neighborhood. We had an amazing stay!
Gorgeous apartment, coupled with excellent service and amenities. Mike and David went out of their way to provide us with a crib for our toddler during our stay, which we really appreciated. The apartment is so comfortable, clean and spacious. David's prompt assistance - when questions came up - was so nice. And we loved the extra touches - wonderful linens, new slippers, and tomatoes/wine apon our arrival. Will recommend this rental opportunity to friends and family!
I spent 7 nights at this lovely apartment in the upper Marais. My associate and I were in town for business, and we found the location and neighborhood central and pleasant... we particularly enjoyed the nearby Marché des Enfants Rouge, as well as the park up the block. The apartment itself was spacious and elegantly appointed, with a good kitchen for cooking... you can really live like a local! Due to the heat in Paris during our stay we left the windows open at night, which left us vulnerable to the sounds of late night revelers and passionate French lovers quarrels on the street – but with the windows shut tight that sound largely disappears. I definitely recommend the apartment, and I would happily stay here again.
Mike's home is really lovely - as beautiful as the photographs promise. It is extremely comfortable and elegant, with beautiful artwork on the walls, a spacious living room and very comfortable bedrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen and laundry room. Mike's friend and neighbor David was extremely helpful, helping my parents move in when they arrived before I did. He also stepped up to help me spontaneously when I had trouble negotiating with the airport delivery service after the airline lost my daughters' luggage. It showed up 4 days late, and they wanted to deliver it on the one evening when I could not be home. I called David for advice, and he called them for me to have them deliver it to him instead. He definitely went above and beyond, and was a wonderful host.
