Recently updated, this cozy old ranger house located at historic Packwood Station close to Mt. Rainier National Park and White Pass Ski Area is the perfect mountain getaway. We are just down the road from the trailhead to Packwood Lake and walking distance to amenities in town. The fire pit and charcoal grill in the backyard are perfect for evenings of BBQ'ing and making s'mores! Take a walk to the waterfall on our property and watch the elk grazing in the yard.

The location was perfect for a weekend of skiing at White Pass. The house is comfortable and having firewood supplied, along with making for s’mores was a nice touch!

This house was in the perfect location, within walking distance to the market and the coffee shop. The house was very clean and has everything you need to relax and enjoy the weekend. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I own Packwood Station, a former ranger station just outside the entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. We have been teachers for many years. We love to visit family and fun places, and hope to retire soon and do that a lot more often!
