Beautiful place and excellent location. Very close to San Vito but far enough that it feels very peaceful. The view all around is stunning. Would love to go back!

Nicola and Nicoletta were great hosts and their place is amazing. It is a beautifully restored mill house with a lovely private courtyard. The sunset over the local beach viewed from the balcony is spectacular. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials and Nicoletta even m…

Where to start... Nicoletta was the perfect host from start to finish, she helped us get to the property, settled us in, gave great local advice and even left a few treats for us in the fridge. The property itself is wonderful and has great coastal views, including a secluded g…

Nicoletta and Nicola are super kind, generous, and fun hosts. We visited very off season (November) and super last minute, so their local suggestions were extra helpful to us, as was the food they left for us for the morning. We arrived exhausted and left full of life and love fo…

It is hard to believe this is the same place other reviewers stayed in. Quiet? No. It is located on a T intersection and trucks sound their horn as they race through it. You won’t need an alarm clock The host? Absent. In Verona we were told. So, certainly no handmade ragu that …

Response from Nicoletta:
I will try to respond to some criticism. For all the rest I rely on common sense of the people who will read all our 26 five stars feedback and who will see the pictures of our home. (They are taken from an air Bnb photographer). It's quite clear that the guest hasn't look at them neither realized where she was going. -BRIC A BRAC/KITSCH furniture: Our house is an historical house, an ancient mill full of unique pieces. Not recognize or appreciate ancient furniture from the Sicilian tradition doesn't make someone an antiquarian. -RAGÙ/MUFFIN/or anything else: Bringing them to our guests is a courtesy and a kindness that we do when it is possible. I have communicated them in advance that I would be out of town for health problems. We are renting a house, no services included. More over the guests forgot to mentioned the fridge full of food for the breakfast and the bottle of wine as a welcome. -NOTHING WAS AS EXPECTED: Guests have the possibility to contact air Bnb within 24 hours after their arriving and told them that the house did not meet their expectations. They never did it or mentioned any issues with my husband, even if they spoke with him daily and living in the same house. They are right on one thing. There is a big difference between pictures and reality: the bathroom in the pictures is the old one, they have found it renewed. -NO HELP FROM MY SUBSTITUTE: Nicola is not my substitute, he's my husband and he takes always care of our guests with me. Speaking not a good English should be not a problem since we leave in the apartment a detailed English guide written by us. -RESTAURANT CLOSED: Sicily, as well as any other place in the world, Australia included, has a seasonality. I have written to our guest in advance that most of them will be surely closed. -TRUCKS: No trucks can drive on our street. We live in a quite town and usually our guests love this area for this reason. During school time there is just a little yellow school bus that passes and plays the horn. It's curious that the only one bad feedback comes from the only disrespectful guests we've ever hosted. Leave the house messy and dirty, hide a damage and ask us to prepare the apartment 2 hours before the usual check-in time and than come with 1 hour 30 delay without communicating it is representative of the kind of guest we hosted. Guests has rights but duties too. In the top of my list there is education.
