Picturesque cottage in lovely location. Great open fire, traditional features. Highly recommended for a weekend away.

A great cottage in a great location. Very considerate hosts, who left bread, milk, and other basics for us to use. We saw lots of wildlife in the surrounding countryside, including red squirrels, but be careful if you have a phobia about elephants!

We loved spending time in this farmhouse in Butterstone in Scotland! What a beautiful place! Thank you also for the food you provided for us during our stay--we made a lovely breakfast! Very cozy spot with beautiful grounds, and I would highly recommend it!

This place defines off the beaten track. You must like sheep and you must like elephants. Very homey and real. Quite different from most airbnbs, in a good way! We loved it and hope to return w/ a few family.

Geoffrey's cottage is really a unique experience: we arrived at night, the full moon shining, driving up a small private road in the woods, rabbits staring at us, frozen in the headlight of our car. At first it was almost a little scary. In the morning we realized what an amazing place this is: rolling hilltops all around us, some woods, the sky, cows and sheep grazing in the distance. Around the cottage there was an ample lawn for the kids to run around. We had barbecue and enjoyed watching out for the wildlife. We also enjoyed the sightseeing in Dunkeld and the Beatriz Potter museum. In the evening we lit the fire in the living room and played chess.

We stayed for a weekend for a wedding in Dukeld and had a lovely weekend. Its about 15mins drive from Dunkeld high street in a beautiful setting. We slept 3 couples and 2 babies under 3 months which was a bit tight but OK for a weekend. The house is a home from home. Its well laid out, well stocked with everything you could need, really comfy beds and nice blankets and hot water bottles. Fire place stocked with logs and coal for cosy nights and all set in well kept farm style gardens. We loved it and would love to come and stay again.......bit longer next time.....
