Our 1930s home comfortably hosts 1-4 guests. Within walking distance of great restaurants, coffee, bars, etc. Also on the same street as Franklin's BBQ and the TX State Capitol.
Our home is bright and cozy. It was built in the 1930's but has been recently renovated. Approx. 900 sqft living space with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
The home has an open kitchen and living room flow. Kitchen includes stainless steel appliances (oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven), soda stream, french press, and built in water filter.
The space comfortably sleeps 4-5. One bedroom has a queen sized bed, the other bedroom has a sleeper sofa (also queen sized). The living room has a futon (slightly larger than twin sized) and a regular sofa.
The bathroom shower has a spa like feel with a ceiling shower head and riverstone shower floor.
There is a cute front porch, and a larger back porch.
We are short term rental certified with the City of Austin.
Guests will have access to the entire house, with the exception of our laundry room, where we will be stowing some of our personal belongings.
Both front and back doors have keyless entry. You will be provided with your own code for the time of your stay.
There is plenty of street parking in front and along the side of the home.
While you stay at our place, we want you to make yourselves at home. Each bed with have clean sheets, blankets, and pillows. There will be clean towels in the bathroom for each guest. You will have access to our high speed wifi, as well as the television in the living room (with Netflix).
There will be some treats in the kitchen for you, as well as various items to make breakfast if you choose.
Interaction with guests
We will be staying at an alternate location in town during your stay. We will stop by on occasion to gather our mail and feed our outdoor kitties, but will not enter the residence. We want to respect your privacy during your stay. If you need anything, we can be reached by phone, text, or email.
Other things to note
We have several outdoor cats that we care for. They are usually afraid of strangers.
We have a dog, but she will be with us during the week. The house will be thoroughly cleaned, but just a heads up for those with severe pet allergies.
Please respect our home, neighbors, and outdoor creatures.
You are permitted to smoke outside the home, but please not inside the home. If the house smells like smoke, you will be charged the security deposit.
No pets please.
You are liable for any guests that enter the unit. Please no loud music or parties. The police department enforces noise ordinances.
Our home is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
