This beautiful cottage estate is nestled on a quiet cul de sac, steps from the boat launch, dock and beach!
It is truly a four season property and location with an endless number of actitivites to enjoy in the spring, summer, fall and winter.
Inside you are welcomed with valuted ceilings, hardwood floors, rustic beams, and a stone fire place.
We have a brand new gourmet kitchen that includes stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and a farmhouse sink.
The warm open concept is perfect for relaxing by the fire or visiting with friends and family.
The "cottage" is 3500 feet on 3 levels with 6 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. 5 luxurious queen size beds, fluffy duvets, pillows and throws - all for your "heavenly" nights sleep. There's also a upstairs room with 2 'heavenly single beds and a "bunker" on the lower floor with 2 sets of bunk beds.
Outside there's a fabulous wrap around veranda with woodend deck chairs and an expansive picnic table, perfect for your morning coffee or evening sunset meal.
A new concrete block patio has been built along with a new cast iron firepit that doubles as a table when a fire is not burning. this patio is surrounded by a lush garden that is perfect as another place to perch.
some of the summer time activities to enjoy include the firepit, barbeque and a huge lawn for a game of badminton, volleyball, bocce ball and or croquet.

there is no cell phone service in the area however we have a land line and complimentary long distance to the owner at any time.
Alternatively, we also offer wifi and the owner can be reached by email at anytime.
the immediate neighborhood of cottages in and around the cul de sac include families with both young and adult children. there is a warm neighborly atmosphere. 4 minutes down the lake is the small town of Tulameen with 240 residence. The town includes a wonderful traditional outpost store with all the last minutes needs including an excellent selection of BC and popular wines and beer.
There is also a gas pump, a library, and an covered outdoor ice rink that seconds as a great road hockey and basketball court during the summer.
One of the huge bonuses of The Cottage at Otter Lake is that it is right on the KVR trails. there are 500km of bike and ATV/Snowmobile trails that run throughout the Kettle Valley and provide outstanding touring and exercise benefits for the outdoor enthusiast.
Other things to note
Otter Lake freezes in the winter and offers all of the amazing winter activities such as skating, cross country skiing, etc.
Our cottage has its own water well and therefore provides some of the best cold glacier fed water in Canada so NO bottled water is needed!
This is our family cottage and we are excited to share it with others.
We ask that you care for the cottage as if it was your special oasis.
We will ask for a list by name and age of all those in your party that will be attending. This list will create the basis for renting the cottage to your group. The list will need to be exactly the same as those that make up your group during your stay. We will have our property management company greet you to verify this. Any variance from the approved guest list will result in termination of the reservation.
Rental is not offered to those under 35 yrs of age.
Smoking and pets are not allowed on the property. Anyone that can not adhere to this policy will result in termination of the reservation.
all towels and bedding is provided along with shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.
We ask that you bring your own beach towels.
The cottage is heated using the wonderful wood burning fireplace as well as electric heat. During the summer months, the cottage will not require heat for comfort. During the shoulder and winter months, additional electric heat will be needed from time to time. Since electric heat is very expensive, we will have all floor board heaters turned off and the wall thermostat heat settings set at the minimum 6 degrees during the colder months to avoid freezing pipes/etc. Since the cottage is often empty for days/weeks at a time, we ask that upon check out that any floor heaters that are turned on be turned back off and that the wall thermostats are re set to the original 6 degrees.
We require that all garbage (including all food in the fridge) be removed by the guest at time of check out. a $150 charge will be applied if all garbage is not removed.
fireworks of any kind are not permitted on the property.
Our cancellation policy is 50% refundable 1 week prior however we will retain the damage deposit and cleaning fee charge.
Cancel up to 7 days before your trip and get a 50% refund plus service fees back.
