We had a great stay at this Air BNB. The check in process was simple and easy and the place boasts character! We were out and about for the day on a wine tour and returned back to make dinner in the spacious staff room/kitchen. The rooms are very large and the beds were comfy(very soft sheets!).

The Library was adorable! Spacious, so clean, and with the most epically comfortable beds. Design details are on point, and loved breakfast (fresh eggs!) in the staff room. We were all completely charmed. Close to Sandbanks, Lake on the Mountain and Picton. Night sky views are stunning and local shop Live, Laugh, Eat perfect and welcoming (with delicious banana loaf!). Would absolutely stay again. Thanks Jesse and Alysa!

Great unique space, great location. Exactly as listed but with extra charm. Can't wait to stay here again next time we're in the County!

The suite was clean and well maintained and nicely decorated. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. There was a nice BBQ set up outside with patio and lounge chairs. Being able to watch the chickens outside were a bonus for my toddler! Would definitely recommend this place!

Had a wonderful stay with two other young families. Great home base for a weekend visit to The County. Kids (ages 2-7) had a blast playing outside in the large field, and inside in the former classrooms. Great outdoor spaces for family dining as well.

Just what we were looking for. Our time in summer school was such a fun experience! A unique spot in a beautiful setting. Fresh eggs and local jam in the morning and fireflies dancing at night. We stayed in the library and it was super comfortable, well appointed and airy. A quick drive to the beach and even quicker into Picton. Perfect all around. We were sad to leave.

We had a great stay at the South with our toddler. It's a convenient location to check out Sandbanks and other area highlights as it's in close proximity to Picton, Waupoos and Wellington. We made great use of the day pass for Sandbanks, particularly as we discovered our child was only good for a couple of hours of beach time a day. Alysa had great suggestions and tips. We of course enjoyed the granola and eggs and had multiple visits a day to see the chickens. We loved having a barbeque and were able to pick up missing necessities close by. Highly recommended!

We are Alysa Hawkins and Jesse Parker. We live in a former public school which is part B&B, part concert venue.

We stumbled across a Kijiji ad for the school and couldn't resist the chance to relocate to South Prince Edward County and re-use the wonderful building, which was used as a public school from 1960 to 2011. "South" (short for South Marysburgh Central School) is our home to us, our children and our golden-doodle year-round.

Lots of visitors to Prince Edward County have never been to our neck of the woods. We're well off the beaten path. South Marysbugh Township remains a quiet farmland with lots of wild places and unspoiled scenery. Not a lot has changed around here in the last 150 years or so, but the roads are a lot better (winky-winky emoticon.) The wineries of South Marysburgh benefit from the soil and micro-climate at the southern tip of the County, and the wines from down here are the very best in the County. Quieter roads make South Marysburgh a haven for cyclists who visit for awesome lakeside rides.

We enjoy sharing our unique property with visitors from all over the world. Thanks, everyone, for your interest!
