Not a good experience with Clayton, was my failure! He arrived late in the night and I have made a mistake (first time since I am in airbnb) and did not print out his Reservation, as I was in the National Park Corcovado, when I received his Reservation. It happened and I am very sorry about this. What I do not underestand is, that he rented a 150 US$ Hotel , because right in front of pur residencial are serveral hotels with rates fro 50 - 75 US$ (Adventure Inn) and went back to the Airport, where Hotels are very expensive. I offeréd him to find a solution directly with him, as airbnb takes days or weeks to answer, I offered him a free stay in our house and also could discuss his adicional cost, but not 200 US$, when renting a room for just 20 US! He never answered and gave us a very negativ Review, never meet him personally and never stood in our home. This is not fair and everybody can read our other Reviews from airbnb guests from the entire world, who are very happy with our residencial and help. Some guest arrive midnight, others travel sometime early in the morning at 4:00 A.M and we call Taxis for our guests, WE DO EVERYTHING FOR OUR AIRBNB GUESTS . I am shure that new guests will visit our nice home Close to Airport in a quite and safe residencial and that Clayton cannot ruin our Review Image. I do not recomend him , as he is not willing to find solutions and compromise in a dificult Situation! It was my failure and it will not happen again, we are all humans! Tks to the airbnb comunity to understand this.
