You'll like the place because it's at once new and modern, and yet warm and cozy. It has everything you need, but without clutter. It's spacious and bright, a place you'll enjoy spending time in while in Saskatoon, and always enjoy coming back to at the end of sightseeing, visits, or business meetings.

Note: I do not have a microwave, tv, or dvd/vcr player.

The space
My house is new, two-storeyd, and with 9-foot ceilings. This gives the entire house an "airy", spacious character. Large windows also make the house bright and very pleasant.

On the main floor is a bright living room, as well as the kitchen, and a spare bathroom. There is a front and rear entrance to the home. This floor is shared with me.

Upstairs is your room and bathroom. Both are for your private use. The bedroom has plenty of space for storing luggage.

Guest access
Access to the house are from the front or the back. During your stay you will have your own key, giving you privacy and control.

Neighbourhood highlights

Buena Vista is the best neighbourhood in Saskatoon. Well, I'm biased - I live in the neighbourhood! But it is a great neighbourhood because it's peaceful, established, and central. Many streets are lined by grown trees, and have a beautiful "canopy" of green in the spring and summer, and gold, orange, and red in the Fall. Most places of interest are within a 10-minute drive, or 30 minute walk: Diefenbaker Park, Gabriel Dumont Park, Buena Vista Park, Rotary Park, Victoria Park, Exhibition Park, Western Development Museum, Nutana (BroadwayAve), 8th St, downtown, River Landing East, and Riversdale.

I like travelling, and have been to Europe, Africa, and Asia, and I have lived in both North and South America. I try to be active so I hike lots in the summer, and cross-country ski in the winter. I enjoy watching sports, particularly soccer (futbol) and tennis. I like to read about theology, spirituality, and history. I listen to music (particularly flamenco), I'm learning to play the guitar, and I like to take pictures. I try to lead a simple life. The best move I ever made was to get rid of my tv and microwave... :)
