11th floor (fantastic view!), new apartment w/ pool & gym, internal laundry, modern kitchen/ bathroom. Only 20 min walk to the CBD and 5 min walk to: cinema, great bars/ restaurants/ cafes, Powerhouse Museum, river-side bike/walking path.

The space

Our apartment is kept very tidy, has an incredibly comfortable, new queen size mattress, the best couch for curling up with glass of red and a book, washing machine/ dryer, modern kitchen w/ gas cooktop and dishwasher, and Wifi.

Guest access

You will have full access to the apartment. Once issued with the front door key and the swipe for the elevator/ front door (you'll need it after 5 pm and before 9 am Mon-Fri and all day on the weekends) you will be able to access the pool on the 1st floor and the gym on the 2nd floor. There is guest parking under our building from Friday night (after 5:30 pm) - Sunday morning (car must be moved by 8:00 am). If you need parking outside of these times there are a limited number of guest car parks under the building and, of course, street parking is available.

Interaction with guests

You will have 100% privacy. You will only see us when we meet to pass along the keys.

Other things to note

Although we have a lap pool in the building you also have access to an olympic size swimming pool only 1 block away. You can just ask for a week pass to "test the facilities" and they'll hook you up with a 7 day free entry pass. If you're here on a Saturday we highly suggest you grab our bikes and ride down James Street to the tip of New Farm (10 min ride), where you can cruise around a super cute farmer's market and grab a German brat or Chinese gyoza for lunch. There are three cinemas close by but we recommend Cinema Six on Brunswick Street. You can sit in bean bags (normal seating too) and order a glass of wine. Love it. There is an IGA one block from us (more affordable than the pricy James Street grocers) and a Chinese yum cha restaurant where you can eat all you want for $20 (1 hour limit). Deal. But if you're feeling like a healthier option you can walk around the corner to Sol, one of our favs. Healthy AND yummy, won't break the bank, and the staff are always super friendly.

We ask that guests leave our space as they entered it. We take really good care of our apartment and would really appreciate it if guests do the same. The keys are super expensive to replace ($150 for the key and $100 for the swipe card) so PLEASE do not lose them. Remember you'll need the keys AND swipe card every time you leave the apartment to get up and down the lifts and enter the building after hours (outside 9 am and 5 pm Mon-Fri and all weekend). The trash (non recyclables) go down a shoot in the door marked 'Rubbish' directly across the hall from us and you can just leave the recycling (it's too hard to explain what to do with it!) We do have air conditioning but it's expensive to run so if you could please open the windows on cooler days/ evenings as an alternative it would be much appreciated. And please make sure it's turned off (fans & lights too) when you leave the apartment. That's about it - thank you!

We just loved Angie's space! It was very clean and comfortable and the location was great, we just wished we could have stayed longer than one night! We would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity. Angie was very responsive and super helpful and friendly.

Angie's place was lovely, clean and exactly like on the photos. It's very central so easily walkable to the river, cafes, bars and the CBD. It was the perfect place to visit Brisbane for the first time. Communication was great with no issues at all. Angie is very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. The flat is on the 11th floor on a main street. The windows are only single glassed (like most places) so for light sleepers ear plugs are recommended.

I guess I have just grown accustomed to the slight hum of the traffic below but, good idea - if future guests are light sleepers I will advise them do bring ear plugs. For future reference (if you stay again, which you're certainly welcome to!) please ensure you close the windows at night as this helps cut the sound out. Angie was very helpful and easygoing. Her place is great, it's centrally located so that we could walk everywhere, out to a concert, dinner & breakfast.

Great apartment with plenty of natural light, in a great part of town with plenty of good bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. Angie made the key collection very easy, communicated really well and was also flexible with our checkout time. Would recommend to anyone to stay here. :)
