High on a shelf overlooking the Columbia River Valley near Wenatchee, WA, with gorgeous basalt cliffs to the south, this full hookup RV camping spot is a perfect rural getaway. Great for a home base to explore the area's wineries and other activities!

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is an RV camping spot. It does NOT include an RV; bring your own. There are no bathroom facilities; tent or car camping is not advised.

The space

With incredible views of the entire valley, this peaceful rural location puts RV parks to shame. You've got your wheels, park them someplace worth visiting! We have two spaces available with water, power (20 or 30 amp*), and sewer. Because there is limited space for turning around, we recommend trailers no longer than 28 feet.

Please be advised that we do not have restroom facilities for this spot and it gets cold in winter. Sleeping in a tent or car is not advised.

--
*We have only one 30-amp connection. The other is 20-amp. Please be sure to ask about availability when you book.

Guest access

Guests have access to the chicken coop with fresh eggs, vegetable and herb garden (in season), "Lookout Point" bench, and 10 acres of property. A fire pit is available for guest use, depending on fire restrictions. (Generally not allowed during the summer months.)

Other things to note

There is a helicopter based on the property, but it does not operate often or at night.

We stayed on Maria's beautiful property in late July. Maria was the best, she was helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. We had a 20 ft. travel trailer, maneuvering was a breeze and water/electricity/sewer was easy to hookup to. The view was absolutely amazing, the sunsets overlooking the Columbia River and Wenatchee Valley were incredible. There's an awesome winery within walking distance called Malaga Springs, we enjoyed delicious wine and had a great afternoon chatting with the owner. We also experienced a unique wildlife sighting when Bighorn Sheep came right next to Maria's home.

We had such a great time. This is exactly what we were looking for. This site had such an amazing view and was not far from all the things we wanted to do, but still secluded and private. Maria was a fabulous host and we really enjoyed our conversations with her. I would have loved to get to know her better. I will keep this place in mind for future endeavours.

This was a great experience! We just got a old 1973 RV, and this was are very first experience with taking it out for vacation. Maria's place was the perfect place for our first RV experience. We wanted something less traditional than a RV park, and this was such a gem with a quiet and peaceful vacation with a stunning view. Maria was really personable and helpful, and her dog Penny was really sweet too. Our dog Thor really loved being able to roam a little bit, and meet Penny as well. Maria was also great to loan us some tools and a fan when our AC went out and it was a really hot weekend. Overall, we can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time staying at Maria location. The view was excellent. Maria was very friendly and hospitable. She made delicious breakfast each morning and we enjoyed wine and conversation one evening on her balcony. During breakfast on the first day, a herd of Big Horn Sheep came down off the cliff sides and gave us a show. The hook up were exactly as stated and the pad was big enough to easily maneuver our 30' long trailer.

Let me begin this review by saying Maria and her hospitality cannot compete with any others on AirBnB. I was a little hesitant at first to book, but I am so thankful I did! The views from the property are spectacular and you can't get this anywhere else for the price! Maria's full heartiness made me and my camping partner feel completely welcomed in her space. First night we stayed she offered us wine from the winery down below our site, I came home with a few purchased bottles. Maria is also a wonderful chef, her home cooked breakfasts are to live for! I know Maria's place is my new gem stay when I am in Eastern Washington! I will be back again :)
