Molly's Place is located on our century old property which is a short (15-20 mins.) and pleasant walking distance to most amenities, including the Historic Gardens, Fort Anne, restaurants and shops in Annapolis Royal.
Molly's Place is situated in our landscaped gardens.
This quaint building is situated in the back garden of the (formerly) Tulip Tree B & B.
The room has a queen size bed and luxury bedding. There is a large ceiling fan for your added comfort in the summer months and in the colder months there is baseboard heating in the main room and ensuite bathroom.
The tastefully decorated main room is 17.5 by 13 feet and includes a small closet and 3 piece ensuite bathroom with six jet spa shower.
In the summer months guests are welcome to use our comfortable muskoka chairs under our pergola and enjoy the peaceful yard and lovely views of Allains Creek with its changing tides.
Interaction with guests
We always try to be available when our guests arrive to answer any questions and make any recommendations for places to visit or restaurants in town. We provide guests with numerous brochures, menus, etc. to review in Molly's upon their arrival.
Annapolis Royal, Canada's birthplace has a population of approximately 480 people. The town offers many things to do including the Historic Gardens, Museums, Fort Anne, our famous Saturday (summer) Farmers' and Traders' market (the largest outdoor market in all of Nova Scotia).
Across the Annapolis Basin is the Port Royal Habitation, whale watching on the Bay of Fundy in the Tiverton and Brier Island area, wineries (Bear River and up the Annapolis Valley), hiking trails, and more. The restaurants in town provide a great variety of food to tempt your palette. All within easy walking distance (15 - 20 mins). There two grocery stores and a liquor store plus other shops.

A pleasant 15 - 20 minute walk will get you to the restaurants, Fort Anne and some shopping in the downtown part of Annapolis Royal. The Historic Gardens, and ArtsPlace are approximately a 10 minute walk. There are many beautiful historic homes located on St. George Street so the majority of our guests enjoy the leisurely walk to view these stately homes. For additional walking pleasure, three blocks from us is a wonderful walking trail around a Ducks Unlimited pond.
Public transportation is limited.
A vehicle is recommended for activities outside of the town. Free parking is included with your stay at the side of our main house.
In the winter months there are two restaurants available, Bistro East and Ye Old Towne Pub.
Other things to note
Molly's Place includes a mini refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, dishes, cutlery, glasses, hair dryer. Note there is no stove or hot plate. It is not necessary to bring your own towels or sheets as they will be provided. Bathroom supplies will also be provided.
No Smoking. No Pets. Sorry we are not set up to accommodate children since there is only one queen bed in the room.
Respect for neighbours is expected - keep outside noise to a minimum especially after 10 pm.

My husband Ted and I have lived in Annapolis Royal for 8-1/2 years having come from the Toronto area. We love the beauty of Annapolis Royal with the many historic homes, Historic Gardens and Fort Anne to name a few. Our house is called Tulip Tree B&B. New this year!
