Having retired from a career as a self-employed graphic designer and magazine publisher, I now prefer to live simply, gardening and managing the forest on 150 acres of remote land in the Madawaska Valley. My life-long interests have included exploring the countryside, geography and local heritage architecture wherever my travels take me. Whether it be by hiking, canoeing, kayaking, motorcycling or auto touring, I love to ramble about the local countryside discovering little hidden gems and out-of-the-way places, including waterways and hiking trails. As a dedicated vegan, I love to sample local vegan foods, micro-brews and wines.
