The property is owned by my family, based on the Malaga Coast. I am the manger, having lived here at la Cartuja for 4 years with my family. Currently, I come and go, usually visiting on weekends when we have more visitors and guests. My friendly helpful staff are Rocio and Luis, they will host you if I am away, and will assist you with any info about the area, where to eat, what to see, what to do. I hope to meet you personally if you come to Cazalla.
At a personal level., I am a mix of Swiss, Spanish and Irish. Very well travelled, many hobbies and interests. I speak 4 languages and have lived in 22 countries for work . I love nature and organic farming. And have a passion for Andalusian roots, architecture, music, culture and food and most especially am passionate for La Cartuja de Cazalla, a Carthusian Monastery which has been in our family for 22 years, and which has been progressively restored into a Cultural Heritage Site and monument with the original monks' cells converted into spacious and stylish suites. As a family co and business, we have been looking after the premises for over 5 years it was leased out before that.
We offer our guests a personalised experience, you will be informed about all touristic options in the Sierra Norte region and we will guide and recommend places of interest to visits. We can offer you breakfast buffet (optional) and also you can hire SPACES for parties, weddings, etc.
