Private room/guest bathroom in a bird lovers end-unit condo. Located on an active outdoor aviary and duck pond. Double bed. Overflow room available for an extra $45 for two more people. No children under 14 years. Non-smoking, drug-free household.

The space

My condo is located on a large pond. It's very peaceful and there is lots of bird activity and people walking their dogs. Usually the weather is gorgeous. I have two decks where guests can relax and be by themselves or visit with friends.

Guest access

Guests are welcome to use both patios in the front and in the back of the house. There are two bathrooms: the guest bathroom plus the bathroom downstairs. Currently, we don't have televisions for guests but we do have wifi throughout the house.

Interaction with guests

I'd like to see my guests in the morning and evening and find out if they have everything they need and are comfortable. If you are a coffee drinker, I can make coffee in the morning. Let me know if you like OJ, milk or bread products so I can stock them for breakfast for you.

Other things to note

Lots of parking on the street. No guest parking in front of the house/garage.

I'd like people to let me know if they spill something on the carpet or break anything accidentally. I'd like the doors locked from inside when people are home alone. No non-guests are allowed upstairs (near the sleeping areas) for safety and privacy reasons. If you would like to invite friends or family to stay, I have an extra sleeping room available near yours.

Timi is very friendly and accommodating. The location of here place is very tranquil and turned out to be perfect for visiting our family members. Unfortunately, it was very, very hot in San Diego the first couple days, and the the room stayed very warm, so sleeping the first two nights was difficult, even with air conditioning and two fans. The last two nights were much better! Thanks for a good visit.

Timi is a wonderful host very easy to communicate with. She was very helpful with information on good restaurants and how to get around the city. The room is nice and private.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Timi's!! The location is very central to major highways - there's a great neighborhood grocery store just down the road, and her townhouse is in a very quiet and peaceful location. Timi's was wonderful with communications and went out of her way to make sure my stay was comfortable! Plus - she's a great person to talks with! I would highly recommend a stay at Timi's!

Timi was a great host, made our first Airbnb experience super positive. Her place was welcoming and very clean. The location was great, it was a shame we could not stay longer. Timi was a great person to talk to as well, would recommend.

Timi' s home is close to shopping, freeways, and everything San Diego has to! offer! The room is spacious and cozy and the shower has great water pressure and hot! Timi's place also has great ambiance with a pond in the back & nice sitting area in the front...very scenic and peaceful! I really enjoyed staying at Timi's and getting to know her. She's very accommodating, friendly and easy to talk with. I feel I've not only got lucky on a nice stay...but feel I've made a friend in the end as well. Thanks so much Timi for your kindness and opening your home to me!! ~Teri. :) m

Timi's home and hospitality made our San Diego trip a complete success. She is a very caring and warm host. We were attending a wedding in the area, and she even dropped us at the wedding venue! She contacted us before our trip to give us a weather update, and accommodated all our requests along the way. She also gave us very clear directions to her house making it easy to find. We had fun chatting with her over coffee in the morning. During the day, she would gave us our space to enjoy the wonderful view from her deck. The room itself was very comfortable, clean and welcoming, and it served our purpose well. We would definitely stay with Timi again if we had the chance.

I am an Airbnb Host. My pond-view home is also my office. I'd like my visitors to be tourists, conference goers or students who are out and about during the day. In the morning, let's enjoy some coffee or tea on my back deck so we can watch the ducks, coots, egrets, and hawks getting ready for their day.

Please don't book this location if you are traveling with children under 16, your pets, or have problems with stairs. We are not set up for accommodating these issues.

In the evening, I would love to hear about your day and help you prepare for the next! I enjoy learning about other cultures and cities, meeting new friends, and helping with driving directions and on-line needs. I'm working as a leadership coach. I have been involved in micro-credit lending in Mexico, and I am working on programs that energize veterans and non-profits so they can have strong futures. I love the colorful, happiness of Dia de los Muertos as you will see in my home. My home is peaceful, clean, and comfortable. I enjoy my family and neighbors around me.

I originally come from the Richmond District of San Francisco, near The Presidio and Golden Gate Bridge. I graduated from San Diego State University and live within 20 minutes of all the universities, the Zoo, and within walking distance of Alliant University and a short bus ride to Miramar Community College. The house is located 20 minutes from downtown and the airport. The beaches are about 30 minutes away. There is close access to all the freeways. We are located near the Miramar Marine Air Base and there is plenty of parking on the street. I strive to help ALL my guests feel welcome and safe during their visit to San Diego.

As a Traveler: I usually stay in private homes when I travel, and I am a quiet, friendly guest. I journal while I'm traveling and I'm pretty low maintenance although I might like to put a few things in your refrigerator.
