Access to 4 amazing decks and 2 kayaks. It has 4 bedrooms and a loft space sleeping area. It just has been newly renovated with love and intention. We want you to have the best vacation. This is not just a rental. It’s a place to make memories and reset to what is important in life. I call it my bliss. I hope it is yours too.
The space
This Family Cottage is WATERFRONT and located on Georgian Bay in the best area called the Township of Tiny. A central location too, with so many conveniences a quick drive away if you do forget anything at home or don't feel like cooking and want to go grab some yummy eats.
One of the major highlights, we have thousands of square miles of open freshwater right at your footsteps. No need to haul anything to the beach! Water visibility is stunning, making swimming and snorkelling excellent. Shallow enough to make it safe for the younger ones and going further out - fun enough for the older kids and adults. We also have 2 light weight single rider kayaks. Equipped with two paddles and two bail kits and whistle. However, PFD are the responsibility of the user.
You have two entrances from the driveway. One is driveway level that leads to the basement. It is covered by expansive deck above so it can shield you any rain or snowfall you may experience when arriving. A great place to leave any of your bigger items too. You can drop off your luggage and vacation items here to keep the main living areas of the house nice and clutter free. There is also a second fridge down there, where you can store overstock and keep the kitchen fridge for daily items. We also call this entrance the ski entrance in the winter months as we have ski racks and heaters right there! Plus the washer and dryer are located beside the ski area, where you can easily drop in any items need to be washed after an active ski day. Or for road bikers - their biking gear. The higher end washer and dryer are large barrel, front load and brand new!
The second entrance is up the stairs that leads to a big balcony to the "front door" right beside the kitchen. An ideal place to sit on windy days or have a glass of wine if you are cooking and need to be near the kitchen. Just open the window above the sink, set the timer and and enjoy the outdoor space.
The third entrance is from the beachside of the cottage, right into the 2 season sunroom. In the summer months - it's a great space to drop off towels and any beach items. In the winter months - the sunroom becomes also a great cold room.
Our Family Cottage has a 3 full bathrooms, to prevent panic moments with the wee ones. A lovely kitchen, living room, four bedrooms, another bed in the loft area, and a sun room entrance. In the basement, we have lower level entrance, laundry room, a big bedroom with 2 queen size beds, a full bathroom and rec room with ping pong table.
We have a two tiered kitchen and living room concept with amazing high ceilings, large windows and sky lights. It’s bright, open with a beautiful indoor fireplace. Both spaces look out to two decks and have amazing view of the beach. The first deck spans the entire living room and sun room with plenty of space for outdoor dining and relaxing. The second deck is WATERFRONT! Yes! It doesn't get better than this. It spans the entire width of the property. And has plenty of space to sunbath, lounge, sit back and enjoy this breathtaking view. You won't believe you are in Ontario.
The kitchen is equipped with an incredible fridge that has front door easy access to high use items, front door ice maker and water filter. Remember, to all the cottage planners, I put in two fridges, both with freezers to help keep things organized and drinks cold. And to store plenty of ice for your libations. All new appliances too. I think they are better than the ones I have at home. BONUS: The kitchen fridge even makes those amazing big round balls of ice for negronis or whatever your cocktail of choice is. The stainless steel gas stove has 6 burners and BONUS: two ovens! You also have dishwasher, 4 slice toaster and a microwave. For a kitchen list we have wine glasses, beer glasses, water glasses, low balls, coffee cups, espresso cups, pasta bowls, cereal bowls, large and side plates, cutlery. We also have plastic large plates, plastic bowls, plastic water cups, plastic wine glasses, plastic champagne flutes and plastic beer glasses. Also a nice little milk crate with plastic plates, plastic bowls, plastic cups and cutlery for the little ones. We also have dual coffee machine/ Keurig single cup, Nespresso espresso machine, French press, pots, pans, toaster, baking sheets, plastic cutting boards, wooden cutting boards, and many utensils. There is a variety of wooden, glass and plastic mixing / serving bowls. Thanks I tried to limit what you would need to bring from home.
For those that want kitchen specifics here they are: I purchased really good quality pots and pans. My request is they are washed by hand so they keep :) I have two small pans, two medium pans, two large pans and two extra large ones with lids. 1 crepe pan. For pots, it's a set that has large, medium and small pots. I don't have a big stock pot though if you do need one.
The knive set is also really good and the knives are sharp. Again, request if they could be washed my hand to keep the quality and sharpness.
With regards to baking sheets, I have one extra large one and then large and small ones. One muffin tin and one loaf tin. In addition, there is one large and one small glass bakeware sets. I have left parchment paper to help with clean up. But I did leave an oven cleaner spray for hard to clean moments.
Salad spinner. Lots of kitchen utensils including wooden spoons (wash by hand), lemon squeezer, meat tenderizer, oil spoon, digital meat thermometer.
I've also left some basic spices, oil, vinegar, flour, sugar, coffee and tea.
There are two plastic cutting boards (one regular and one small), and two wooden ones. I also have one large wood board for charcuterie or cheese boards. Little dip bowls. I think for apps and so forth, there is a nice variety of bowls and serving plates.
One recommendation is to bring take out containers to take food home with you. But I do have nice glass food containers to use when you are there. The lids are wood, so please wash those by hand.
Under the sink , there are two drying mats that can be used for drying bigger washed items, or used to place hot pots and pans. I also have heat coasters as well.
As mentioned, the kitchen is right beside the upper level entrance that has the large deck that spans the entire cottage. You have one of the two main bedrooms with comfy king size beds and amazing pillows and duvets. A good night sleep is important to us.
The first kings size bed is located on the main level equipped with a TV with the shared full size bathroom and shower located on this floor.
The second king size bedroom, also with a TV is on the second floor with a sliding barnyard door. BONUS: You have access to your own private balcony overlooking the beach and Georgian Bay. A perfect oasis to do yoga, read a book or stare into the view.
On the same floor you have the kids room that has a bunk bed and a trundle near by. You also have the loft space there too. BONUS: We have an old school vintage video game machine here and a queen size bed for extra sleeping space. This loft space overlooks the main living area with railings. This floor too has a modern and bright full bathroom with shower.
Heading down into the lower level. We have a wonderful sized basement bedroom with two queen size beds and a TV. You have access to another full bathroom and shower. BONUS: in the rec room, we have a brand new ping pong table. As a reminder: the laundry room, driveway level entrance is located on this level as well.
I'll be posting more photos as we go as we are still finishing up the cottage and waiting for furniture. We took possession in October and started the renovations in November. So the place it literally brand new.

Guest access
Access to the beach front and a series of linked beaches. Private driveway that can fit 3 vehicles. You can go for some lovely walks. But may want to consider. Active type - explore the area where you will find 3 ski resorts, hiking trials, fabulous road biking. Quiet time - stroll small quant towns, visit flea markets and or go to the local zoo or bakery.
Other things to note
We are looking for family and friends that want to make special memories and treat this as their own cottage. We put in a lot of work into buying things that would give us and our guests pleasure. This is not a party place. It’s a place to unwind, have fun, explore and make lifetime memories with the ones you care about the most.
The surveillance system is used for traditional security system. It is also used to verify the amount of guests specified in the reservation, the amount of vehicles in the driveway. And to ensure no pets are part of the reservation. Due to a handful of guest experiences, we’ve had to put in some checks into place.
During off season or when there isn’t a back to back booking, feel free to ask for an early check in or a late check out. I can always check with our amazing resident cleaner if it works works with her schedule. She typically can accommodate.
