The space
Our spacious apartment extends over 2 floors (1st and 2nd floor) and with its 2 bedrooms and generously designed living, cooking and dining area offers enough space and retreat options for 4 adults.
Division and equipment:
The heart of the apartment is located directly on the 1st upper floor – here is the living and dining area. With a comfortable sofa and armchairs, a fully equipped open kitchen and a cosy seating and dining area with unobstructed views of the countryside (ski jumping hill in winter), this apartment combines classic elegance and feel-good character. A modern fireplace invites you to get together in the evening and adds to the cozy ambience of the apartment. Put your feet up and relax!
On the 1st floor there is also one of the 2 bedrooms, with comfortable box spring bed (180x200) and spacious wardrobe, as well as a bathroom with shower and toilet.
On the 2nd floor is the 2nd bedroom, equipped with a modern box spring bed (180x200), a wardrobe and a small sitting area. On this floor there is also a large bathroom, with two sinks, bathtub, toilet and shower.
In addition to the freestanding bathtub, the south-west-facing sauna is an absolute highlight. Relax after long hikes or ski tours and enjoy views of the countryside and mountains.
(Remember to pack your robe!) We have sauna towels to sit on in the apartment.)

Location:
The central yet quiet location right at the foot of the Wank lookout mountain is the ideal starting point for hikes in the immediate vicinity and excursions nearby, e.g. to the Zugspitze, various mountain tours, a 30-minute walk to the Pfeiffer-Alm, or a walk around the picturesque Eibsee. For some hikes, you don't even have to get in the car and can start walking directly from the apartment!
Parking and shopping:
If you arrive by car, you will find free parking directly on the property or on the street. The train station is approx. 30 minutes by foot.
Shopping and the pedestrian zone of Partenkirchen are less than 15 minutes' walk away.
Ski slopes and cable cars in the immediate vicinity:
Eckbauerbahn: (about 2.5 km from the apartment, only 1.1 km on foot)
In summer, it is the starting point for beautiful hikes. In winter, there are ski routes and tobogganing opportunities down to the valley (valley station directly at the ski jumping hill)
Hausberg cable car: (about 4 km from the apartment)
(Hausberg 1335 m) In summer a popular destination for hiking and mountain bike trails, in winter for skiing, as part of the Garmisch ski resort.
Kreuzeckbahn / Alpspitzbahn: (about 7.5 km from the apartment)

The Zugspitzbahn is also only about 13 km away and takes you to Germany's highest peak!
The Hausbergbahn, Kreuzeckbahn, Alpsitzbahn and Zugspitzbahn are part of "Garmisch-Classic," one of the snowiest ski resorts in Germany and in summer great for hiking, mountaineering and climbing.

Our apartment as well as the surroundings are places of relaxation.
Out of respect for neighbours and other residents, parties, après-ski events, bachelorette parties and loud music are therefore not permitted.
Unfortunately, we are also unable to host four-legged guests. We ask for your understanding.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the apartment.
Additional info:
You have all the living areas on the 1st floor and attic to yourself and your fellow travelers alone, with their own wardrobe, private sauna, private balconies, etc.
Directly after the front door, a staircase leads down to the ski cellar, where you can park hiking and winter sports equipment. The ski cellar, laundry room with washer and dryer, as well as things like vacuum cleaners are shared with the lower accommodation unit.
Don't forget:
- Bathrobe so you can snuggle up after the sauna
- Sturdy footwear, even if you don't go on long hikes
- All our soaps are without microplastics, odorless, without perfumes and dyes, 100% vegan, ph-skin neutral and biodegradable. If you do not want to do without your usual care products, simply bring your own.
Sauna rules:
- No sweat on the wood - please sit on your towel.
- Please note: use of the sauna at your own risk. We accept no liability. A sauna manual with many tips on how to use the sauna can be found in the apartment. Please never go to the sauna alone (if you fall asleep) and please do not use alcohol! If you have any health problems, please ask your doctor first.
