About this listing
Charming, recently renovated 3BD cape half mile from the ocean and lovely parks! This cozy, yet spacious home is a mile from the shops and restaurants of Cabot St and a 15-20 min walk to the train to Boston. An easy access point for the North Shore!
The house has three bedrooms and one bathroom. Two bedrooms are downstairs--one has a queen bed and one has a full bed. The third bedroom is upstairs and has a queen size bed and built in desk area.
Sheets and towels are provided. Kitchen is fully equipped. There is also a grill in the backyard that guests are welcome to use. There is plenty of parking in the driveway or on the street.
There are two flat screen TVs in the house--one in the living room and one in the sun room. The house only has basic cable in the living room and one Amazon Fire Sticks which can be used on either TV to access Netflix, MLBTV, etc.
There is NO central air conditioning in the house. There are two window AC units which can be used in the upstairs bedroom and one of the downstairs bedrooms for the warm weather months, as needed. The indoor fire place is currently not functional. There is a patio set and umbrella on the back patio in the nice weather months as well as a decent sized grassy backyard (for the area). We also have plenty of toys which can be made available for young children!
Guests will have access to the entire house as well as the backyard. There is a two car garage which is not listed for guest vehicle use, but can be used for storage as needed. There is also a basement with laundry facilities which guests are welcome to use, but be forewarned that it is a dingy, old basement and is not cleaned with the expectation of guest use. :)
We ask that people be courteous to neighbors and respectful of the property. No smoking on the property and unfortunately no pets.
I live on the North Shore of the great state of Massachusetts and aside from the hideously awful months of January to March, I am obsessed with life here! I love travel, good deals, abundant sunshine, quality conversation with equally quality friends, and pretty much any kind of competition. I have a young son who is the apple of my eye and the sweetest husband who is truly a better person than I am. I am so grateful.
