The space
Our house is located inside a banana plantation in Tabúa, a quiet neighborhood that allows you to enjoy a good rest and a lot of relaxation.
Tabúa is a neighborhood located on the south side of the island, between the cities of Ribeira Brava and Ponta Do Sol. This is a privileged location as it allows access to the main tourist attractions of the island located to the north, east and west without having to drive long distances or invest more than 40 minutes by car.
The house has 3 levels and all our rooms are on the first level. The second level of the house is the residence of the host family, which can be accessed at all times. In addition, on this level you have the main terrace of the property, which all our guests can enjoy. On the third level are the other two apartments identified with the numbers 5 and 6.
We have free private parking for 3 cars on the first level that is available to all our guests. It is also possible to park safely and free of charge on the street, close to the property.
Located no more than 150 meters from the main entrance of the property there are bus stops, in both directions, so getting around by public transport can be an alternative for those who do not wish to drive through the narrow and steep streets of the island.
The entire property has a WiFi network that allows all our guests to access the high-speed internet service in an unlimited and free manner.
Guest access
As already mentioned in the Property description, our accommodation operates in our house, which is made up of 3 levels.
On the lower level are located Suites No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 in what was formerly the grandfather's winery, where he produced his wine. These spaces were transformed into rooms with double beds (for 2 people), private internal bathroom and private kitchen equipped with refrigerator, stove, toaster, coffee maker, microwave oven and all the necessary kitchen utensils.
In front of these rooms is the main lobby of this level, where each suite has an assigned table so that our guests can have lunch and/or dinner more comfortably. In this area there is also the laundry station, the water purifying filter and the cafeteria station, which our guests can use by leaving a contribution that makes it possible to maintain these services.
On this same lower level, in front of the main lobby, is the main garden of the house, a space that has 2 barbecue stations, the pool and the jacuzzi, as well as a large space to relax and sunbathe while enjoying close contact with nature.
On the second level of the house, there is the residence of the host family and the main terrace of the building. All of our guests can use this terrace to relax and contemplate the beautiful sunsets of Madeira. In addition, as we, the hosts, live in the same building, our guests can contact us whenever they consider it necessary and we can give them a personalized and direct treatment that makes them feel at home.
On the upper level (third level) are Suites No. 5 and 6. Like the rooms on the lower level, these suites are equipped with a double bed, private bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and additionally, each of these suites has its own private terrace with views of the ocean and the banana plantation that surrounds the house.
At the western end of the property, and about 100 meters from the house, we have a viewing point overlooking the bay of Lugar De Baixo and the old pier of Ponta Do Sol and from where you can appreciate the spectacular sunsets of the island. This site is reached by walking west along the path that divides our house from those of our neighbors located on one side of the house.
All our rooms and common areas are smoke-free areas, so smoking is prohibited; this prohibition includes electronic cigarettes.

The best way to access the property is by car, however, the bus stop is located about 150 meters from the main entrance of the property.
We have facilities to park within the property for up to 3 cars, but vehicles parked on the street are not at risk.
During your stay
Our guests can count on our help at all times (24/7), just by going up to the second level of the house and making their request. We live on the second level of the property.
In addition, they can contact us through the technological tools currently available (phone, email, etc.), in the publication you will find our contact information.
They can also use the messaging function offered by the Airbnb application and website.

Born in Venezuela to Italian and Portuguese parents, we have fused customs and traditions that make us a multicultural family.
