The apartment is located in a perfect position, it's incredibly near to Nørreport st., central station, Tivoli gardens, Strøget, Rosenborg castle and so on... Elizabeth's husband was really kind and show us every corner of their house: it's full of light, it has very comfy beds and pleasant furniture, on the contrary I didn't appreciate the lack of light bulbs in the living room and in 2 bedrooms that had been replaced with weak lamps. When we arrived the towels on hangers had already been used infact they were still wet and dirty so we had to replace them with the clean ones. Finally, we noticed that every single closet and drawer was full of owners' personal effects like clothes, shoes, (URL HIDDEN) we couldn't unpack our luggages. I suggest to use curtains for the bathroom's window.
Elisabeth's apartment was central, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed (stocked kitchen, washing machine, good beds) for our family's stay in Copenhagen. It is centrally located, has excellent access to public transportation, and is easy to navigate the neighborhoods and get to many tourist attractions. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy at night, with street activity and proximity to restaurants. However, the positives outweighed that and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
The apartment is wonderfully central for tourists. It's large enough to spread out and have your own space, complete with natural light and large comfy beds. But if you're looking for extreme quiet, this may not be your place. It was quite loud outside during most hours of the night (summertime seems to be an "up all night" event for many Danish people and therefore I cannot blame the apartment itself. But there was quite a bit of human created noise outside between 10-6am that I did not expect or particularly like. That being said, I would rent the apartment again. Elisabeth was flexible with our late check in and communicative during our stay. We felt comfortable, welcome and safe in her flat and would definitely rent again. We did leave in a rush and I felt badly about not completing washing the dishes but other than that I think we were great guests staying in a great city with a great host.
Staying at Elisabeth's was perfection! Her and her husband greeted us and gave us a tour of their spotless place; additionally they urged us to call them should we have any issues at all. Their home is spacious, comfortable, and taken care of soo lovingly! They had set out fresh flowers whose scent was a welcome reprieve from a Busy and long day! The location of their place is soo central that we walked everywhere from it; additionally the subway station is very close. I've never had such a pleasant air bnb experience as i had here! My only regret is that we never got to spend more time with Elisabeth and her husband because in staying at their apartment it's quite evident they are interesting people with varied experiences and likes and we would have loved to get to know them better !
