The space
The Modern Basement Suite was built in 2015, in a Heritage home (1876) that features original wood front doors with brass lock and half bay and gable windows. Located in the heart of Downtown, we are blocks from Toronto's famous Eaton Centre and so many other of Toronto's most recognized landmarks (CN Tower, Distillery District, Rogers Sports Centre, Hockey Hall of Fame, Royal Ontario Museum, AGO). The house is located on a street with a lot of matured trees and you can spot every day a red cardinal, maybe a blue jay or a falcon..

Where you’ll be

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Cabbagetown's name derives from the Irish immigrants who moved to the neighbourhood beginning in the late 1840s. In 2004, part of Cabbagetown became a Heritage Conservation District, protected by municipal bylaw.

Despite gentrification, panhandling, social housing & diversity are very much a part of any Metropolitan landscape; so are gourmet shops, upscale boutiques and arts festivals, book launches and some of the best new restaurants in Toronto. Seasoned travelers compare Cabbagetown to the Lower East Side of Manhattan, the most fashionable culturally diverse and contemporary neighborhoods left in NYC, so be ready to explore!

BUSINESS or VACATION? Stay with us and enjoy a stay nothing short of exceptional. Get spoiled by an accomplished SUPERHOST.

Our Downtown home is a delightful retreat after a day enjoying the "City Buzz".

Walking under the canopy of the old Cabbagetown trees, one can forget about the noise of the modern city. You can immerse yourself in the past looking at the old Victorian houses and yet walk to shops and modern or ethnic restaurants.

We love wine, good food and good company. I love to garden and my hubby loves having a nice garden, so we complement each other well :-)

We are a professional couple that enjoys to travel the World. South America, especially Patagonia, is our favorite spot. While we enjoy pitching a tent in the mountains to see Mother Nature at her best, we like to pamper ourselves at home ... and you will be too!

It's all about the experience....Whether is your first Airbnb trip or your 10th, experience ease, comfort, and safety. Helpful without being intrusive, we are here to answer your questions and to make sure you have a pleasant, memorable stay.

We speak English and German and we understand a bit of Spanish, French and Italian
