I absolutely mentioned that a car is a must. I always tell people it is called the Big Island for a reason. i even e-mailed some suggestions about (Website hidden by Airbnb) and other ideas. The web site also states a car is needed
We have an entire closet filled with beach gear to save guests from having to pay $20 + a day. Nobody has ever mentioned that any gear is old, as a matter of fact one set is only a few months old. I tell guests to please wash the gear after or it gets crusty.
I have never had a complaint about the bed, it is a fairly new queen that I have had many guests tell me it is the best sleep they have had in years. We are constantly updating our apt. with new sheets, linen, rugs, towels pots and pans etc etc. We pried ourselves on having everything any guest would want and or need. We have return guests constantly coming back for their 2nd and 3rd or more stay and referring friends and family.
All ages and sizes have stayed here, our apt. is wonderful for all ages.
We have great feedback on here and other sights.
I told guests the night before their departure that the check out time was 10AM, plus it is also written on the web site AND the instructional manual in the apartment and still the guests did not leave on time. I had to go over and tell them the cleaners were waiting. The cleaners were not happy, it was very uncomfortable.
