The space
600 sq foot three room suite on lower floor. Daylight windows, with A/C, fireplace, heated bathroom floor, kitchenette for coffee and snack prep.

Guest access
Private keypad entrance at back door, enter through breezeway and head downstairs. Several garden seating areas, picnic table with BBQ, firepit. 2 person infrared sauna in suite. Hot tub is for owner use only please.

Other things to note
Access via stairs only. Beach access is 100 m away and easy kayak launch. Village centre is less than 1 km walk. Whales, sea lions, seals, eagles, ravens, hawks- great bird watching!

Neighbourhood highlights

Lantzville is a quiet rural beachside village 20 minutes from downtown Nanaimo. On sunny summer days our beach is a popular destination for families, paddle boarders, kayakers, and fishermen. On blustery days, the surfers, kite surfers, sailboats, and eagles take over. Nearby farms offer fresh produce, baby animal petting, and horseback riding.

This is a photographers favorite beach, with frequent prom, wedding and engagement photos. Wildlife abounds- expect to see seals, eagles, otters, herons, sea lions, humpback whales, and maybe the orcas! The sunsets on the point are a daily event, drawing spectators from all over the city. In mid summer, the dark beach is a great star gazing spot and on Halloween the local fire department sets off fireworks in the bay!

The historic village has three amazing restaurants including a heritage pub, a medical clinic, a dental office, a pharmacy, post office, and thrift shop. Our main bus stop doubles as a free library.
