Bertrand was very thorough and very kind. He made a lovely host. The flat was very sweet and in a perfect location.

Very cute apartment in the middle of a lively friendly neighbourhood, steps from the subway and the parc (luxembourg). I felt very much at home and safe here and would definitely go back.

Although the location was very nice, we really did not enjoy our stay there. The apartment is small, but that's Paris apartments. The window they took the picture of the Eiffel Tower, a midget would have a hard time looking out. The small couch that I suppose is to sleep two more people, not sure about that, was very uncomfortable and really needed to be cleaned. I didn't come to Paris to sit on a couch, but after a long day of sight seeing it would of been nice to have a place to rest. The mattress on the floor in the loft was vey uncomfortable. The apartment definitely needs some upkeep, paint was peeling off the wall, no cold water in kitchen. I'm sorry to say I would not recommend this apartment.

Response from Bertrand:
I would not comment on any subjective aspect (i.e. comfort of the mastress, or the view please see previous comment for REAL opinion!), but just tell that if you had any issue (i.e. with cold water) you should have asked me as we are leaving on the same floor. You never even send me an email or a SMS to ask me about any problem. I dont believe there was any issue for the water either (remember the cold water tap is on the left !). I had no issue in the past and there is no issue today with cold water. Moreover you broke some glasses without even leaving a note to apologize.

The flat was perfect and absolutely in the city center. And also, the flat got fantastic location. Anywhere you want go just by walk thats enough. Like Eiffel tower、Louvre and so on.... By the way, Bertrand is a very nice host, and also he is very gentle and enthusiasm. I think I will come back. But if I come back I will still choose Bertrands flat. Yulu

This is a great location with a good choice of restaurants and coffee shops within a few metres from the apartment. Bertrand was fantastic in his communications from initial contact all the way through to check out. He made us feel welcome on our arrival and pointed out all the good places for food plus some of the ones to avoid :-) Overall, this is a great place to stay. The only drawback that we found was the upstairs sleeping area is a touch difficult to get into (fine for kids or shorter people) as the roof is only a couple of feet above your head.

Wow, were we blown away by this apartment! Fantastic location, views, and amenities. The neighborhood had so much character, with a wonderful cafe scene and lots of adorable, non-touristy shops. Bertrand and Catherine were welcoming hosts, and always available if we had questions. The apartment is roomy for 2 with a nice bathroom, full kitchen, and space to set out your luggage and relax. The view is extraordinary, and we could sit and watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night. We were less than a 10 minute walk from the Notre Dame, Louvre, Luxembourg Gardens, Latin Quarter, and the St. Sulpice church, making this a prime location for a first timer's stay or a seasoned Parisian tourist. This was the perfect AirBnB experience and I recommend this apartment for anyone looking to stay in Paris.

The flat was lovely and exactly like the pictures - it is also extremely well located. The main street below is busy (with easy access to food and cocktails) but the flat is well insulated from the noise. Bertrand and Catherine were very helpful and accommodating.
