THE NEIGHBOURHOOD:
Nestled in Baker’s Bottom, a peaceful residential enclave in Brighton, my home offers a quiet retreat with a friendly, local vibe, away from the main tourist hustle.

It's ideal for couples wanting to explore. Kemptown Village, with its independent shops, bakeries, and bookshops, is an 8-minute walk.

The seafront and famous Brighton beach are just a 10-minute stroll, while Queens Park is 5 minutes away for a green escape or to feed the ducks. For entertainment, Haus of Cabaret is a 15-min walk, and Round Georges pub (great Sunday lunch!) is 2 mins away. Nearby, find BeachBox Sauna, Yellowave beach sports, adventure golf, Sea Lanes pool, and Bison Beach Bar (all under 20 min walk).

PARKING:
There's no dedicated parking at the property, but street parking is available in Zone C (e.g., College Terrace, just around the corner). Typically, Monday-Sunday offers free parking 8pm-9am, and paid parking 9am-8pm is approx. £6.50 for 24 hours (please check current prices).

Search 'Hendon Street BN2 0EG' on JustPark or Parkopedia for the latest local on-street parking and car park options and charges.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
Getting around is easy! Frequent bus services run from Eastern Road (a 5-min walk) every 6 minutes, including the No. 7 bus direct to Brighton Train Station, the Marina, and the city centre.

The area is highly walkable: Kemptown Village is an 8-minute stroll and the seafront 10 minutes.

For a fun alternative, Brighton Beryl Bikes are readily available on many streets.

Lift Access: No
Property Floor: 2nd floor room, via stairs only.

My work: Self employed coaching and training specialist
Lives in Brighton, United Kingdom
My name is Philip. I hope you like the look of my listings and choose to book one of my rooms to enjoy your stay in vibrant Brighton! I've lived in Brighton off and on for 20 years and I love Brighton's vibrancy, diversity and seaside charm. There is always something going on whether its the annual May arts festival, marathons, tattoo conventions, music concerts on the seafront or Brighton LGBTQ+ Pride. I have rented out my space on air b n b since January 2019 and have enjoyed the experience so far. I love music and singing and am a keen member of a local community choir so love Brighton in May when the city comes to life with the May Festival which is as famous as the Edinburgh Festival for comedy, theatre, dance and music. I also love travelling and have been lucky enough to travel to many fantastic places such as Thailand, Mexico, Australia and America. There are many other places on my list so I will use air b n b as a guest to explore some other parts of the World such as South America and Africa. I also love meeting new people and have a busy social life so can provide many ideas for bars, restaurants and things to do in Brighton and the local area. I am self-employed as a business coach and training and development specialist so although your stay will be pretty much self managed with codes to get in and out of the property I am on hand if you require any assistance during your stay.
