- Your review comes as quite a surprise since you only mentioned how wonderful things were when we communicated after your stay. I quote your message to me at the end of your stay which stated:
BETTY, I WANTED TO TELL YOU WHAT A WONDERFUL TIME MY DAUGHTERS AND I HAD AT YOUR HOME. IT WAS PERFECT FOR OUR FAMILY! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK.
- The checkout instructions are clearly stated in my welcome email as follows:
•All trash shall be gathered and placed in the bins outside.
•Linens and towels shall be placed in the bathtubs.
•All kitchen items that require cleaning shall be placed in the dishwasher and left running.
•The stove top, oven, and BBQ shall be left in the same state as they were when guests arrived. Please contact the property manager if they are not found in an acceptable manner as soon as you have checked in.***
***The property manager was never contacted about issues upon your arrival.
You also never disclosed there were pets accompanying you and when questioned you stated there was a service dog. In you comments to me though, you mention "The dogs didn't go upstairs or one of the downstairs bedrooms at all", so there was obviously more than one, they left quite a mess, and you never paid the pet fee.
-You also noted the windows did not lock - they are brand new and were just installed December 5th.
- A glass casserole full of food must have been placed warm in the freezer and when removed, it cracked and broke. Pictures are available and you were not charged for it.
It seems to me the welcome email was not read or followed.
I am sorry you had such a "bad experience" - I don't understand it.
