Bear Paw Cottages are nestled along the shores of Lake Ainslie, Nova Scotia’s largest freshwater lake.

Our comfortable cottages afford wooded beauty and seclusion with the largest private natural beach on West Lake Ainslie. Only 15 minutes from amenities, golfing, whale watching, and much more. With a private beach and large firepit, groups and motorcycles are welcome.



We participate in the Clean it Right program as well as being provincially inspected.

The space
Our cottages are fully stocked with everything you need for a getaway! Sheets, blankets, towels. East Coast coffee is provided for your experience. Guests also have full access to kayak use while visiting. The kayaks are "Use at your own risk" Please note there is no cell service at the cottages. There is cell service on the beach and Wi-Fi is available for your devices.

Other things to note
Please note that as we welcome families with children we do not provide any ammenities for the little ones.
