This is one of two rooms at Tuktawayin. It is available with 2 twin beds or we can convert to 1 king sized bed for multiple night stays. We don't accept one night bookings on high season weekends unless a vacancy has been created by an unconventional booking. There is a shared bathroom between the two rooms (see separate listing). This is a traditional B&B. We prepare your breakfast for you. Kitchen facilities for the purpose of cooking meals are not available to guests.

The space

Robbins' Tuktawayin is the only waterfront bed and breakfast within the urban centre of the Town of Gravenhurst. It is a true B&B, not a house to rent. Guests can walk to main street amenities in 10 minutes. We have two rooms with a shared full bathroom, Garden and Lakeside, and there is a separate listing for each. On peak season weekends to the weekend after Canadian Thanksgiving we only accept two night reservations unless for some reason there is a one night vacancy.

Guest access

Guests will have access to our private dock and gardens, the Muskoka Room, Breakfast Room, Living Room and the shared bath.

Interaction with guests

We prepare a full breakfast which we share with our guests each morning. We are available to guests as much or as little as they wish.

Other things to note

We do not accept one night reservations for peak season weekends until mid afternoon on Friday unless a former guest's booking has left a one night weekend vacancy. If we still have a vacancy at that time we will accept one. Families with children are required to book both rooms.

We offer a variety of seasonal packages. Please inquire if interested.

Elaine & Dave go out of their way to make your experience perfect. The room is lovely, they have thought of everything, robes, hair dryer, towels for swimming, wifi, books, magazines. The food is delicious, the location is perfect right on Gull Lake.

We spent a night in Elaine and Dave's house. They have a big and beautiful house! The king size bed is perfect to relax and sleep well. The breakfast is homemade, and really tasty! Elaine and Dave are wonderful and spending some time in their house is really relaxing. We truly recommand this B&B!

Perfectly positioned on the lake. Lovely views and a sunroom to enjoy this in all weather. It has a standard size room with shared bathroom , standard for a traditional BnB. Lots of room in common areas when relaxing. Historic town in s prime location which means accomodation like this is in high demand. Book early, you won't be disappointed. A note of caution, if you struggle with steps, there's about a dozen up front and maybe twice that for the walk down to the lakeside at the back.

This is a true bed and breakfast, bring your appetite!!! Elaine and Dave prepare the best breakfast. Everything is done in a very professional manner: From the layout of the room, to the set up of breakfast, even the layout of the house. Guests should be open to the 9AM breakfast. Those looking to sleep in until the late afternoon would not appreciate all that Dave and Elaine have to offer. Dave and Elaine are very knowledgeable of the area. There were plenty of occasions where I sought out their advice on Kayak rentals, places to eat, etc. This is a very peaceful and comfortable stay! Highly recommended, worth every dollar!

Amazing house, clean, private and yet close to restaurants and hiking trails. You do have to drive to some of the trails, but they are well worth it! The rooms are perfectly laid out to let you sleep in late, best place for a relaxing weekend!

Elaine User ProfileElaine is a superhost.

We operate our waterfront B&B, called Robbins' Tuktawayin, on Gull Lake in beautiful Gravenhurst, Ontario, the gateway to Muskoka. It is a true B&B rather than a house to rent. We live in the house, prepare breakfast for our guests and share the meal with them.
Our home is built and functions in a cottage casual style.
We are semi-retired and very physically active. We love music, dancing, games and family time and of course we love hosting the many travellers from around the world we are fortunate to host. We live a very casual lifestyle that includes hockey, tennis, rowing, water skiing, kayaking, cycling, playing hockey, snowshoeing, backcountry skiing. We enjoy healthy, simple food and lead a very uncomplicated life.
