Escape to a serene retreat at The Lakeside House, where relaxation and charm meet the magic of the season. Soak in the year-round hot tub while gazing out at the tranquil, icy expanse of Lake Erie or cozy up by the fireplace with a glass of local wine. The house has a contemporary design streaming into the lake views, from the living room and the gourmet kitchen to the loft office and bedrooms.

The space
Beautiful renovated home with stunning lakefront views. The sunroom and the deck are great spots to relax and enjoy the sounds of the water, watching the boats go by or a beautiful sunset. 2 large bedrooms, 2 full baths and 3 indoor sitting areas. The upstairs sitting area has a sofa bed, and can be used as an office during the day and as a 3rd bedroom at night. The kitchen has just about everything you need for cooking and entertaining. The voice activated Alexa device will allow you to play your favourite music !!!
We also have a BBQ with propane.
A variety of coffees, teas, breakfast bars, filtered water are offered complimentary.
We have 2 kayaks on site which could be used to explore the unique habitat of this magnificent land and water intertwine. ( let us know in advance if you are going to use any of them so we can have them ready for you. We offer vests and the emergency kit required by law) but you will need an SUV or a truck to bring them to the boat ramp/dock, 400 m away.

The historic town of Amherstburg with Fort Malden, many great restaurants, bakeries and grocery shopping is within a 10 min drive. The famous Southern Ontario wine route ( EPIC) has about 20 wineries to explore, most of them with their own restaurants. A local brewery and distillery are only minutes away.
