The space
Welcome to your peaceful New England retreat!

This newly renovated private space offers two beautifully appointed queen bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and everything you need for a relaxing and restorative stay. The main living space and one bedroom are located within the third floor loft, while the second queen bedroom and full bathroom are located on the second floor in its own private suite, just off the same staircase leading to the loft. Although accessed from the same stairway, it is completely enclosed and private from the rest of the home, giving your group plenty of privacy.

Whether you're visiting for a romantic getaway, a weekend with friends, a concert, or to explore the area's history and natural beauty, you'll find a quiet retreat designed with comfort in mind.

One of the most meaningful parts of staying here is knowing your visit makes a difference. One hundred percent of the proceeds from every stay directly support Sowa Goat Sanctuary, a nonprofit farm animal sanctuary dedicated to providing lifelong care for rescued farm animals.

THE SANCTUARY
The loft is located on the grounds of Sowa Goat Sanctuary. Guests are welcome to observe the sanctuary's rescued goats, sheep, miniature cows, chickens, and other residents from designated viewing areas along the fence line.

To protect the animals and minimize stress, guests may not enter the barns, chicken coop, or pastures unless they have reserved a private guided sanctuary tour in advance. These optional tours provide a more personal opportunity to meet the animals, hear their rescue stories, and learn about the sanctuary's mission. Guests have exclusive access to the entire private guest retreat, including:
* The private loft living space
* Two queen bedrooms (including the private second-floor suite)
* Two full bathrooms
* A private entrance
* The outdoor fire pit
* The surrounding gardens and designated outdoor seating areas

The guest accommodations are completely separate from the rest of our home, which is private and not accessible to guests.

The retreat is located on the grounds of Sowa Goat Sanctuary. Guests are welcome to enjoy views of the rescued animals along the fences but for the safety and well-being of the animals, the sanctuary grounds including the barns, chicken coop, and animal pastures are not open for self-guided visits. Guests wishing to meet the animals up close are welcome to book a private guided sanctuary tour for an additional fee. Message us for details if you're interested!

Other things to note
* We do not allow pets or children under 12 to stay at the property.

* We are a non-smoking Airbnb and do not allow guests to smoke inside or on the property. Guests who violate the non-smoking policy will be charged a $1000 cleaning fee to remove the smoke smell from the unit.
