Welcome to the Enchanted Urban Loft located in the Enchanted Dwellings Lodge. Diana and the A Stone's Throw Bungalow team will take over hosting of these lovely homes on May 8th, 2022. As Alex and Steve step away from hosting, we look to provide you with the same great experiences you've come to expect from the Enchanted Dwellings!

The Enchanted Dwellings Lodge consists of 3 separate, private apartments. The Urban Loft is a private and secure apartment has its own entry, private living space, private balcony, kitchenette, bathroom and shared patio and hot tub. At approximately 325 soft, this modern and charming home will be the perfect place to relax and recharge.

First things first...this quiet retreat is completely surrounded by a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. In addition, the Urban loft is located above an adjoining apartment. So...

QUIET HOURS ARE ENFORCED. NO PARTIES, LOUD MUSIC, DRUM CIRCLES, OR ANY OTHER DISTURBANCE, NO PETS, NO ADDITIONAL GUESTS ALLOWED OR YOU WILL BE SUBJECT TO EVICTION.

We'll confirm that you understand this is a quiet retreat and the shared nature of the lodge when you request a reservation. We've had issues in the past. Thank you for understanding!

DOWNTOWN LOCATION -
Just 10 blocks to Mirror Pond and downtown Bend, you'll love this stylish perch. Tree top views toward downtown from your private balcony. Saunter 10-15 minutes into downtown or to the footbridge into Drake Park. This is a great Bend location.

LIVING SPACE -
Lofted ceilings, natural light, warm wood tones and a loft above create a warm and inviting living space.

BEDROOMS (1 + SLEEPER)
1) FULLSIZE BED IN the LOFT UPSTAIRS - High thread count linens and European style bedding welcome you to sleep under the stars. There is a skylight above the bed. The mattress is an Ikea foam mattress. Please note the stairs are steep and narrow stairs to access the loft as well as low ceilings. No closet or dresser in the loft.
2) QUEEN SLEEPER SOFA IN THE LIVING ROOM - A very comfortable queen pull out sofa. There is a low ceiling, walk-in closet adjacent to the queen sleeper sofa.

BATHROOMS (1) -
You'll enjoy a modern tile walk-in shower (no tub) with heated floors. Artful window placement above brings natural light in.

KITCHENETTE -
This is a petite but powerful, well equipped kitchenette. Missing something? Let us know and we'll see if we have one for you!

What you will find is a microwave, toaster, induction burner, french press, Italian Moka pot for espresso, petite drip coffee maker, mini-refrigerator w/freezer, electric hot water kettle, cookware & cooking utensils, blender, dishes, glasses, silverware

There is no oven (no toaster oven either) and no dishwasher.

TV/CABLE/STEREO -
40" Flat Screen 1080p HD TV, HD Cable & HBO Movie Channels, DVD Player, High-Fidelity Stereo, 100 MB High Speed Internet WiFi.

HEATING & COOLING -
Powerful gas heater is the primary heat in the winter months. For the summer months there is a powerful LG Mini Split Air Conditioning.

NO PETS PLEASE -
We love animals! But pets are not allowed in this home due to noise, allergy and damage concerns. The homeowner's pup occasionally roams the shared gardens areas.

SHARED ASPECTS -
Hot Tub (note: tub adjacent to other dwelling's living-room window & includes outside privacy screen), Main Portal Front Entryway lockable from your own private secure doorway, Laundry facilities, Fenced backyard & garden, outdoor grill, parking, lockable bike storage shed (includes bike pump & repair stand)

A FEW MORE THINGS TO NOTE BEFORE RESERVING:

1) We have polite signs & instructions posted in each unit. These reminders/signs are not intended to offend you, but due to a few prior guests who caused incidents. Without these signs, we would not be able to continue renting this home.

2) This home is not child-proofed and not child/toddler recommended. There are steep stairs, high-end furnishings and sound concerns. This home is located next to another unit so an active child will disturb the guest next door.

3) Maximum Occupancy: 3 GUESTS - Please do not show up with more than 3 guests (even if they aren't planning to sleep here) Unannounced guests without prior written permission/approval via Airbnb's messages will cause your stay to be cancelled and you will be evicted. You may request a 4th guest if you have good Airbnb reviews and confirm you will follow all house rules.

4) This home is not suited for loud guests due to shared aspects, Bend's 10pm-8am noise ordinance (quiet/silent outdoor & hot tub usage during these hours) & surrounding homes.

5) Please give 6ft of space to other guests, homeowners and staff

Hello from a Pacific Northwest! I'm a PNW native and have lived in Bend for the past decade plus. Like most of us, I love travel and experiencing other places and cultures. I've been lucky enough to live in Latin America, SE Asia and Europe for months at a time.

I'm a physical therapist but have pivoted to take care of these Bend homes full time. Creating amazing Airbnb experiences takes a lot of work and intention. And I want you to have an amazing local experience in Bend!

My favorite travels have been the ones where I felt like part of the community. When I could stay a while and find a favorite taco shop, noodle stand and share an experience with a local.

Things like staying with the nuns in Italy. Going to night markets with family in Taiwan. Practicing French with my Airbnb hosts in Paris. Daily visits to the woman with an orange juice stand in Guatemala. Traveling for hours in the back of a truck with locals in Cambodia. Even those pickpockets that almost got my wallet in Peru.

These shared experiences, joyful and stressful both, have made my travel adventures sparkle. I hope we can help you find the joyful sparkle in your Bend travels!

When you visit Bend and stay in our downtown neighborhoods, you'll see the best parts of Bend. People are friendly here and love to give a smile and a wave. Walk to coffee, a concert, float the river. You'll see how this dynamic community thrives in so many ways!

Bend offers some of the most amazing activities right outside your door. My favorites change with the seasons... Mountain biking, hikes and river floats dominate in the summer. Winter is all about snow, skate skiing and getting some tele turns in. There is something for everyone here.
