You will feel at home the moment you walk in to my house. A weekend feels like a week, because the energy is so peaceful and healing. There is enough space for everyone to spread out, and great spaces for everyone to be together. Sit on the deck and drink in the view of the water and wildlife, soak in the hot tub or enjoy the sauna. This is a quiet, residential neighborhood, so no loud parties. We love dogs too, but allergies mean we can't have them in the house.

The space
This house is a spacious three levels, and designed for relaxing and enjoying each other's company or finding a space of your own. The living room has furniture chosen to be comfortable and accommodate six people easily. The large deck on the front becomes an extension of the living room in the summer and the island in the kitchen has stools for all. The is a large grill is just outside the kitchen door. There's a hot tub on the back deck with an outdoor shower. The back yard is a nice open space, perfect for kids to play. Both downstairs bedrooms have sliding glass doors to outside. The larger downstairs bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub. The master bedroom suite is upstairs and includes a bathroom with a sauna and a steam shower. The finished basement is large and a great place for kids of all ages to play, hang, and watch movies. The living room TV is 50" and has Apple TV, (you must use your own account for Netflix, etc.). The Peconic Bay beach is a 2-minute walk - beach chairs and towels are provided. A small store for groceries and a farm stand for local produce and seafood are both within walking distance. Here is an example of what people have said about the house: "This house is absolutely beautiful. Amazing glass doors, nice hardwood floors, spacious kitchen with tons of cabinet space, comfortable beds, amazing steam room/shower and sauna in the master bathroom. I could go on forever about the décor of this house. I was equally as impressed by how well stocked the house was. Ample towels, toilet tissue, paper towels, kitchen and cleaning supplies. The hot tub was terrific, even in 20 degree weather. This house was perfect for our law school retreat."

Guest access
Washer and dryer in the basement, with an extra refrigerator in the same room. With the exception of two small storage rooms, the house is yours to enjoy.

Other things to note
I ask that you treat my home as though it's your own and enjoy it twice as much!

Location

Sag Harbor, New York, United States

Sag Harbor is historic and offers lots to do for young and old. The center of town is a lovely place to stroll while eating ice cream. The Bay Street theater is a very well-respected summer theater that has a full season as well as evenings featuring some of the countries most famous comedians. The commitment to its rich whaling history has kept the village looking as it did in the 17- and 1800's, which you can see both in the whaling museum and the Commons House. The picturesque harbor is lively and beautiful when all the yachts are in. Home to John Steinbeck and the inspiration for his novels. The American Hotel has a 5-star restaurant. There are cafes and restaurants for all tastes and age groups. There is a ferry to Greenport that leaves from Sag Harbor continuously every day bringing you to the famous winery row on the North Fork. Also in Greenport, you can take another ferry to Mystic Connecticut. Montauk is a short distance and a fun place for fishing and surfing. Bridgehampton, East Hampton, and Southampton are about a 20-minute drive.
