Your own room in a home, plus access to shared spaces.
Cozy, pet friendly cabin set in Jade City. The cabin feels like home- filled with treasures collected over the years. It has electric heat, double bed, basic kitchen and dining room area. It features a deck to put your feet up and enjoy the fresh mountain air as well as fenced area for your pets -coming soon! There is a shared washroom close to the "Dog House" as well as a shared outhouse. Winter months, there is a shared washroom at the motel. Both washrooms are heated and have a full shower.

The space
The space is open! The "Dog House", while cozy and comfortable is also open so the pets have lots of room to move around. There will also be a fenced area you can let your pets loose in to run off some of that energy! The kitchen is small but has all your basics and if you find you need something more, just let us know!

Guest access
Guests will have access to the "Dog House" and fenced area as well as shared access to the outhouse and heated washroom. Depending on restrictions, guest may have access to the fire pit as well.

Neighbourhood highlights

While enjoying your stay with us, you will be able to shop at the local Jade Store, where they mine and design their own pieces. During the summer months, they have a carver on site, where you can see some items being created and talk with the carver and staff about the whole jade process, right from the mining to the finished product. We are also home to many other historical sites, please ask staff/owners about the area.

I have been living and working in Jade City for over 15 years! My love for Jade City has only grown over the years as I have been able to do what I love and love what I do! I am able to be a part of everybody’s adventures and hopefully make it just a bit more memorable for them. I also get to be immersed in the wilderness- enjoying the peace and fresh mountain air… it does a lot for the soul!
