Right at the heart of the World Heritage village, this is a cosy original workers house just a stones throw from the 1853 Hockney gallery and great transport connections.
Close to Leeds, Shipley, Bradford, Skipton, Haworth and the Yorkshire Dales.
This is snug cottage type space with original stone flooring, wood burning stove, piano and mini library all of which you can make use of during your visit.
There is a fully equipped kitchen - and standard appliances including a washing machine, dishwasher, iron and microwave.
There's always tea and coffee to help yourself too, feel free to use the herbs and spices in the cupboards and pans and plates if you want to cook.
I've got this house listed as both as a room and an entire house depending on what visitors require and availability of each varies depending on my own plans.
You will have the larger of the two bedrooms in the house. The bathroom and communal spaces, (kitchen/diner and large lounge), are shared with me. On some dates it may be possible to have the whole house to yourself - please contact me to find out. The yard to the rear of the property is shared with a number of neighbours (and their cats).
Interaction with guests
As much or little as you would prefer.
I enjoy chatting if I'm around, happy to have dinner together or not if thats what you'd prefer. When away, I'm always at the end of the phone for any problems.
Other things to note
As with all houses with stone floors- feet can get chilly. If you are booking for cooler times of the year you might want to bring some slippers- wearing shoes around the house is absolutely fine too.
The bedside cupboards contain a hairdryer and straighteners so you won't need to bring your own.
As if it was your own house, with consideration toward my lovely neighbours. No smoking inside please.
It's important to me that you are safe during your stay- just in case, there is a fire alarm, carbon monoxide detector and first aid kit in the house.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.

Born and bred in the Aire valley, I've loved staying with people all over the world on my own travels so look forward to welcoming you to Saltaire.
I want you to feel at home, whether that's making use of the kitchen or relaxing in front of the fire after a day out exploring, the space is yours to enjoy.
If I'm around, (which is variable as I work away some of the time), there tends to be music on in the background- new recommendations always appreciated.
