We arrived and Lindsey was lovely she's very kind and she was there at perfect time and she welcome us. We didn't stay at Lindsey's cause in my personal opinion the apartment is well located near downtown as Lindsey's says but I was disappointed in the neighborhood. In the apartm…
Response from Lindsey:
It's correct that I don't iron my sheets. It must have been the diversity of the neighborhood that through them off, as my house is always thoroughly cleaned as I can be a bit of a clean freak, especially for guests. They sadly made the choice to leave before I could even address any issue saying "we don't like the neighborhood, and it's really far from the city, and the sheets there wasn't clean". I was more than willing to attempt to accommodate anything they were uncomfortable with, even offering to replace all linens offered with brand new linens, never used, that I already had. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response. It is an older garage apartment and like any older building, it has its unique attributes but it is indeed as sanitized as any apartment or can be without a full remodel. The heights is a very old neighborhood and currently has a mixture of brand new houses and very old ones, with a wide range of cultural diversity. While affluent people and houses exist in this neighborhood, they appear intermittently. The cutest parts of my neighborhood- shops, restaurants, bars are within a five minute drive mostly west and south of my place. Going in the wrong direction in any part of Houston can lead to general ugliness that happens to make up this city. I plan to update neighborhood information so out of town guests can more easily find all the charming spots that this area has to offer.
