Once upon a time, we loved to travel. Now we love to welcome the world to our home. We are a three generation family (plus cats and the odd lodger) living in a spacious Edwardian house, just ten minutes walk from the sea in Southbourne. We try to tread lightly on the earth so if you're looking for a place with matching crockery and fresh towels every day, maybe we're not the place for you. But if you're after homely ethnic boho kitsch (whatever that is) we'll be right up your street.

The space
This single room is small but perfectly formed, with plenty of storage space and a desk and office chair. The shared family toilet and shower is on the first floor and you also have access to a shared kitchen. Appliances available include a washing machine, toaster, kettle and dishwasher.

Where you’ll be

Dorset, England, United Kingdom

We are perfectly located:

ten minutes walk from Bournemouth's seven miles of golden sands,

just a couple of minutes walk from the vibrant local high street which is packed with high quality boutique restaurants, bars and independent shops,

a short cycle ride from Hengistbury Head (a nature reserve and site of an ancient iron age settlement), and

a thirty minute drive or train journey from the Jurassic coast and New Forest National Park.

Buses leave from just round the corner into the centre of town and through to Poole every five minutes.

Pokesdown train station is a fifteen minute walk, here trains can be caught to the New Forest, Wareham (gateway to the Jurassic Coast) and beyond.
