The cozy 1-room apartment is about 25 square meters, has a living-bedroom and a bathroom with shower/toilet. It was newly renovated in 2022. There is no separate kitchen, so there is no cooking facility, but refrigerator, coffee maker, crockery and kettle. The apartment exudes a "feel-good character" with beautiful furniture and harmonious light.

The space
The approx. 25 sqm 1-room apartment is on the ground floor of a detached house and has 2 large windows, so it is very bright. This space is separated by a glass door. We live on the upper floors ourselves. So there's plenty of privacy. In the apartment there is an oak parquet floor and all furniture is as good as new. There is also a TV. The furnishings are very cozy and all furnished in white country house style. The bed and mattresses are also new and it has a size of 160x200cm ( 2 x 80cm mattresses). In the bathroom there is a beautiful shower with glass partition, sink and toilet.
A kitchen is not available, so there is no cooking facilities. However, a small refrigerator ( very quiet), Nespresseo coffee machine incl. Capsules and kettle for tea ( incl. Tea) available. Also crockery and cutlery. So you are welcome to prepare a breakfast in the app. because we do not serve breakfast.
Our house has a quiet village outskirts, Rettenberg is a small village with a bakery and a grocery store (all about 5 min walk away). In addition, there is 1 beautiful and traditional inn with a beer garden and a pizzeria only about 300 m away. So everything is available. There is a parking space in front of the house.
This app is also very suitable for cyclists who make a longer tour, e.g. Lake Constance-Königsee Cycle Path, since we are only 100 m away from the cycle route. There is a lockable garage for the wheels and also a possibility to dry or possibly wash the clothes. Cyclists and other guests are also very welcome for only 1 night.

Our guests are also welcome to use the sunny terrace. There is a beautiful dining area with an umbrella and wonderful views of the mountains.

Other things to note
We have a summer and winter season here in the Allgäu. In summer, you can experience wonderful cycling and mountain tours, and in winter, there is a large selection of ski areas and beautiful cross-country ski trails in the immediate vicinity. We are also happy to offer you professional cross-country skiing lessons (trained cross-country skiing instructor). The municipality charges a tourist tax of 2.30 euros/person/night on top of the price indicated. Will be charged in cash upon departure.

In the village, there is a very cozy and good restaurant (5-minute walk) and a pizzeria. Otherwise, we live a very idyllic Bavarian village life here with a lot of tradition and customs. Our house is in a quiet and very safe residential area on the outskirts of the village adjacent to beautiful meadows and mountains. From the house you can go on wonderful bike rides and hikes in the Allgäu mountains.
