Check In
The comfortable apartment with all you need for living near the main railway station of Turin. Daniela is a very friendly host, who is ready to help in any way. She speaks English fluently, so there was no problem with communication. It was a bit noisely outside during our stay, but maybe it was connected with celebrations of Eastern. I recommend it with pleasure.

Short version: Great experience in Turin! Full story: Daniela is wonderful. This apartment is perfect for a real, walk-to-everything, local experience. As others have noted, this is a perfect location for being in a hot nightlife spot. Not "touristy" at all, and very much an apartment where you could imagine living. The furnishings are sufficient and functional, and everything works just fine - we were so happy to have a washing machine, since we were there for two weeks. Some of Daniela's guests have commented about the noise. Knowing you are in an old building in an authentic, local, vibrant neighborhood, please be realistic and understand the local culture. The noise is not booming sound systems and thumping dance music, but people outside in cafes having a great evening with their friends, probably until 2 or 3 AM, and maybe until 4 AM on Saturday night. Try out these places, and you will not be disappointed with the food, the drinks, or the service, as long as you can communicate with at least a little bit of Italian! The building has such great character, including original windows and shutters, as well as plaster walls and high, arched ceilings. So, sound is not blocked by the windows, and reflects off of the amphitheater-like ceilings. No big deal - when we wanted to turn in before the crowd thinned out, we simply played some "white noise" in the form of a waterfall video on the iPad . Worked like a charm. Daniela had some recommendations for us, for food, things to see, places to eat, and shopping. Spend some time and listen to her, she knows what she is talking about! We did, and ended up with a really great overall experience. From this location, you can easily walk to the best parks, piazzas, museums, and restaurants. Even better, you can enjoy a great walk back! So, if you want the bucolic, pastoral, quiet, turn-in-early-sleep-til-noon experience, this is not for you. However, if you want an economical way to enjoy an authentic Turin experience and have some fun, book Daniela's place and have a great time. But please, take care of this apartment while you are there. We intend to come back to Turin and want Daniela's place to be in good shape when we get there!

Daniela was incredibly welcoming and spent a lot of time showing us around the apartment, which is clean and spacious. She gave us plenty of information about the immediate area, including personal recommendations, which helped us to find our way to some beautiful and interesting places (such as the Parco del Valentino, five minutes walk from the apartment). Daniela was available to contact through (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), and was very obliging when we had questions about where to go, even phoning places for us to check their opening hours. I would recommend staying in this part of Turin as everything is within walking distance, and the area around Daniela's apartment really comes alive at night with a selection of restaurants and cocktail bars.

We loved staying in Daniel's flat. Clean, equipped with basic necessities and really comfortable and very central. It was a shirt walk from the train station. The flat is is a really active place, so if you're looking for a place to stay where you can pop in and out for good food and meeting lots of young and hip people, this place is perfect. Daniela was prompt in responding to messages and very warm to message with. We met her husband who was really nice and showed us the flat and where everything we needed was. A wonderful host and apartment!

Consigliatissimo!
