Get back to the basics and disconnect from it all in this newly built cabin, a rustic retreat nestled in the woods on Spoon Lake. It is located only 8 miles from the town of Columbia Falls and 15 miles from the Camas Road entrance to Glacier National Park. There is no WiFi (& only non-WiFi texting), so you could truly spend your entire visit becoming one with nature, whether you're exploring in the Park or enjoying the scenery and lake at the cabin. This is what a Montana get-away is all about.

The space
The turn-off into the driveway is steep, but doable, even in FWD sedans, but AWD and 4WD would definitely handle it best. There is a parking area on the right, just before you get to the bottom of the hill where the cabin is. This is where you should park. If this is too steep for you to drive down, you can park at the very top of the driveway (as far off the road as you’re comfortable doing) and walk down.
There is a bedroom downstairs with a queen-sized bed and a loft upstairs (via a moveable ladder) with two twin-sized beds.

Where you’ll be

Columbia Falls, Montana, United States

The neighborhood consists of forested lots along a winding dirt road. The driveway to the home is quite steep and an SUV, AWD, or 4WD vehicle is ideal (though not essential) for maneuvering up and down it. If you're not comfortable driving up and down the driveway, you can park at the top of the driveway, pulling off of the main road as much as possible. The walk is also steep, so those who are not steady on their feet might not find this rental compatible with their needs.
