Brenda was so friendly and was very flexible with check in - which was perfect since our schedule kept changing. Yes there was no AC but I was pregnant and still stayed cool. Thanks again Brenda!

Great place, very spacious and nice host. Close to a few lakes which is what I expected. My only critic is the a.c. wasn't working at that time we were there and the weather was very hot.

Response from Brenda:
Hi Liv. Thanks for your kind review. Please note as stated in my listing, century home does not have air conditioning. At night we open all the windows/doors and let the natural cool air flow through. Sorry you misunderstood. Glad you enjoyed your stay even through the heatwave. I have now put up a second notice in the Guesthouse to help those, not used to natural ways to cool off, to manage the screened windows and screened doors each evening. Brenda

Nice space and Brenda is a great host. One thing to note. If hot during your stay place is very warm especially upstairs

Response from Brenda:
Thanks Tara. We are experiencing extreme heat 40 degrees this week and it is having its impact on both the century home, which usually stays quite cool and the natural vegetation and life around it. We practice living lightly on the Planet which includes using screened windows with fans, not a/c, which is noted in my listing, enjoying the stars and moonlight and enjoying all four seasons paying attention to what the weather is telling us about our stewardship, or lack thereof, of the land.
